{18 Month Checkup}

Ok so he's 19 months and we just barely did his 18 month checkup! I know sad, but I have not had much time to think about taking him in and after he's been limping for a week due to a hurt leg, which we have no idea how it happened, I took him to the doctor and decided to get his 18 month checkup done at the same time as his leg check. A little over a week ago he got caught between our end table and couch and I think that's maybe when he might have hurt his leg. I didn't see it happen so I really don't know. So the doc had us go to the hospital and get an x-ray (that turned into a nightmare!) No one there was nice at all! So annoying as a parent with a hurt child. Anyways they didn't see anything on the xray so we still don't know. He just limps around every now and then. He acts fine so for now so we will just hope it's a bruised bone or pulled muscle and not a break. The poor guy has been sick the last couple days, as you can see in the pic he is just laying on my counter while I am making dinner. That was just after he had been to the hospital so he's got his little wrist band thing on. SAD! I hope he feels better soon, the sweet little man. Here are his stats at 19 months for my records:

• Height: 32 1/2 " - 50th %
• Weight: 20 lbs 12 oz - 2-3 % (skinny little fart)
• Head: 19.6" -75th %

Payson is such a joy in our lives! He loves to cuddle, play with his sis, sing songs, dance, eat candy;), sleep, read books, play outside, he loves animals, and loves to go to both his grandmas houses!

Girls Weekend.....

This weekend me and Brylee and my mom took a girls trip to Utah to do some shopping and just to spend some time together since we haven't done that in years it seems like. Brylee had so much fun and got wore out from playing so hard with her cousins while we were out all day (thanks again Jeremy for watching the kids!) As you can see above on the right she is out like a light, you can even see the gum in her mouth! So I had to wake her up to go on the tractor ride with a fun witch at Garner Village so that's why she looks so happy in the pic on the left;)

Brylee's highlight of course was the pony ride! She was SO excited, that's what finally woke her up.

Overall it was such a nice weekend to just get away! Payson stayed here and had some fun with his other cousins while his dad was in spud harvest still. I got to go to some really fun stores that I never go to while I'm down there since usually I've got two kids and a bord hubby. So much fun! Thanks Whitney and Mom!

"I'm a Big Kid Now...."

Well kinda....Payson is still very little indeed but he looked so grown up today sitting up at the counter with his big sis eating lunch. He's usually in his highchair and gets very upset that we are all sitting up at the bar while he's a couple feet away in the highchair. So today I sat him by Brylee and had all the chairs scooted close together so the little man wouldn't fall on our tile. It was so cute how Brylee and him shared their food and kept smiling at eachother, gave some loves, and she even shared her sprite! They got a Happy Meal today since I was out running errands. How sad that they are both growing up so fast.....

Gorgeous girl....

I rarely get a smile out of this little girl for a pic. I just has to post this so I could see it all the time. I love her smile, and her blue eyes (and that chocolate on her teeth...). She's so beautiful and we feel so blessed to have her in our family. Everyday I watch her change and grow, and it scares me to watch my little girl grow up. We just love her to pieces! Yesterday we were flipping through her coloring book, trying to find a page to color. I stopped on one that had a fish sucking on a binky and she looks at it and says "I'd rather not talk about this one..." WHAT!? Wow...she is still so sensitive about those darn binky's. What a sweetheart though. Love you Brylee!

Get out the coats, gloves and hats....

Yesterday when I got home from work Brylee asked me if we could go on a walk. I of course being the lazy one hesitated and then thought.... why not!? It was so good to get out and get some fresh air with the kids. Broc had been gone hunting for a couple days and we really didn't have anything going on. So we walked around the subdivision (well Brylee rode her bike), and then when we got back to the house the kids wanted to stay outside and play. I am so glad that we did all this yesterday because today was terrible....COLD, and windy....and of course some snow to go along with all that. I really do love this time of year. I love the fall colors, the fall clothes, the fall smells, the fall foods, the fall decorations. It's all just so relaxing after a busy, non stop summer full of activites and always being outside. It is hard though to tell your kids they can't go out because it's now too cold. But I love to be inside a clean house and have my "warm apple crisp" candle going, and making yummy food. ahhhh......but I don't want the snow yet!!! Darn.

Bumbles Party!!!

So I have probably already talked to most of you or else emailed you, but just in case I missed anyone who would like to come....

I am having a Bumbles Watch Party on Wed. October 15 from 6-8 pm at my house. It's just an openhouse so you can come anytime between those hours! Bowling for Brylee....

Last night we decided that Brylee needed a night out with mom and dad all by herself. I have been so busy working and the kids seem to be with a babysitter a lot lately. It was so good to get out with just her and giver her all our attention, while Payson got his much loved attention from grandma!
I sent Broc for some popcorn while we were bowling (since Brylee wouldn't let us go eat first, she had to bowl first) and he came back with popcorn, a pop, AND cotton candy!! He spoiled her pretty good last night because he's usually the one to say "NO" to the treats. She was loving life! Then we went and had some yummy mexican food then went and got little Payson. What a fun night it was just to watch Brylee be so happy, AND because I kicked butt in bowling!!! hahaha. Me and Broc are way too competative sometimes:)

Awwww how cute is that?? Brylee was so little, I think this is around 6 months old. She used to always fall asleep on us, I miss that so much.

"See you in the Funny Papers"

The other day I was getting ready to head out the door to work, and Brylee said to me "See you in the funny papers!" I just had to laugh at her because she is so smart and picks up on everything. Her Grandpa Genta says that line to her quite often so I'm assuming that is where she got it. I have been enjoying the things she says to me lately, they can be quite humorous.....

-take your shoes off when you come in the house mom! (she knows the rules alright!)
-Did you hear what I said? (don't know where she got that....;) )
-I will spank your butt (hmmmm take a guess...)
-Payson is my best friend (that one is just plain cute!)
-Mom there's a hairbow downstairs (that's what she calls a hobo) YUCK!!!
-Don't fall off your bed mom (says in a whisper voice when I put her to bed)

All of these things my daughter has said to me lately and I just laugh (even about the spanking one) She is so fun to be around and I'm loving her personality more and more. So to go with this funny post I thought I would share some funny pics.....


Payson loves to wear hats, and this one is a cute yellow one my mom knitted for Brylee last year! He's sure looking good in it though;) It looked funny from the side profile but this is the best shot I could get.

Hard hearted Hannah is what my mom used to call me because I used to put on a tough face and attitude even though I was really tender hearted. Brylee is exactly like me!! She looks tough but she is oh so soft:)
Here is the soft side after some pleading for a decent smile. It's the best we could get, she is one tough cookie when it comes to pictures!!
