Too {BIG}

for a few weeks we had a little problem with Payson and his crib. He would not sleep in it anymore, and why i don't know. He would only sleep on the floor. Every night we would put him to bed and then pretty soon we would hear him get out of the crib and every night he would end up in the hall asleep in front of our door. For the first few nights it would drive me crazy cuz i didn't want him to sleep on the floor with no blanket or anything but then i got to the point where i just needed sleep and would let him do it. So i finally decided to just make a bed on the floor in his room with a pillow and blanket and see if he would crash on it. Sure enough he did!

This little bed (if you could call it that) was where he slept for a week or so. And notice the bottles, we seriously would give him 2 a night cuz we just thought he was hungry cuz he never eats. So i guess he is just thinkin he's too big for a crib now! We really need to just get a twin bed but we don't want to right now. So we took the front of his crib off and made it into a toddler bed cuz it was made to do that and then it can even be a twin bed! It took a couple nights to get him back into a bed but he is now sleeping through the night in the toddler bed, YEAH! (i am really anxious to get a twin mattress set though so i can use his new bedding, i got it in the mail and i LOVE it!)

I feel pretty dang good about getting these tickets since they did sell out in 15 minutes!!! I was laying in bed this morning, enjoying the fact that Payson slept through the night (that's another story) and it was 9:30...yea sad, we had a lazy morning. My phone rings and it's my friend Steph who called to remind me that David Archuletas tickets went on sale this morning at 10! yes 10 and i am laying in bed at 9:30. So i jumped up and grabbed my laptop and wallet and sat on the website until 10:00 sharp. And so i clicked on the link to get some and i reserved two tickets and then i had register with the site, so by the time i got all my info in i had 5 seconds until the page expired when i hit confirm! It was so scary and intense but I got my tickets!!! I'm so excited. I wanted to go to the one in IF but those tickets sold out in an hour and i was at work so i was a little sad. The downfall is that it's on Paysons birthday and i didn't realize that until i was buying them. I feel guilty but we are going to make the day great for him and do something the night before. Sorry little man! Am i a bad mom??

I won!!!

I am one of those people that never wins anything, i just don't have that good luck charm or something. So i have never even been on E-bay because i just knew that i am not aggressive enough to win any bids. Well after lots of searching for bedding for Payson, i was inspired by Kassie, who posted some cute crib bedding on her blog that she found on ebay for a really good price. So i went to good ol ebay and did some searching and came across this bedding that i fell in love with! It is perfect for the idea i have for his room. So for a couple of days i watched the bids on it and i would bid here and there but i was just not going to pay alot. so finally the other day i logged on like 2 minutes before the bid was up and hurried and put in my bid and WON the bid and got this cute sports bedding for only $61.00!!! I am thrilled. It's brand new, it's just a company called Beyond Bedding that sells their stuff on ebay. So here it is and i can't wait to get to work on his room!

{2 year pics}

Today we went and had Annalee do Payson's 2 year pics and let me just tell you....he did NOT want his picture taken! It was alot of bribery and tickling and whatever else to get a smile. I don't know why i have the worst luck with my kids and pics cuz this kid is always the one to "cheese" in pics and today it just wasn't happening. So Thank you so much Annalee cuz i think you did awesome for what you had to work with:) You are amazing!

(and he's not 2 yet but on the 23rd so it's coming!!! CRAZY!)

{Baby Grace}

Once a week i get the chance to watch this cute, sweet, chubby, make me baby hungry little girl...Grace!! She is so much fun and super easy to watch. Me and her mommy (Alisha) trade a day a week to watch eachothers kids so that we can each have one full day at the salon. It is so nice to get out one day a week and to not have to work so many nights. Thanks Alisha for the awesome trade and for letting me watch your sweet baby girl:)

Where was this awesome Bumbo chair when i had babies?? It is SO cool! I'm definately going to invest in one for my next baby...

Brylee LOVES to help take care of Gracey and is very good at making her laugh! (why can't she do this with her brother???)

Growin' Kids

These two have been really good about playing together lately. Finally it seems like Payson can keep up with his sis and occasionally fight back when needed;) Let's just say she's getting a little taste of her own medicine! They run all over the house screaming, playing tag, and Payson crawls around "meowing" because Brylee makes him be her pretend kitty and she puts him in a pretend kennel. i love just watching the imaginary things she comes up with.
And just for journaling....Payson Pooped in the toilet yesterday!!!!! AND Brylee slept in her undies last night, she has done so good about not peeing in her pullup and last night i just forgot to put her pullup on when we got home so i just thought i would risk it, and she did so good! She was very excited this morning when she realized she had slept in undies and didn't have an accident. She said "I'm a big girl!" Yes you are a big girl Brylee....love you!

Extensions!

Well i did it! After months of debating and growing my layers out in my hair i finally got extensions. I was so nervous but they turned out so good! My friend Krista at the salon did them and she did so good, i love them. they are actually shorter than they were yesterday cuz i couldnt handle how long they started out at, i am just not used to long hair! And since so many people have wanted me to post pics i finally decided to, even though i feel so dumb taking pics of myself like this to post for everyone to see! Embarassing. But here they are, the pics are terrible cuz i tried to get Brylee to take one and she would take them but my head wasn't in them, so here is one we got and i tried to take one of myself and that didn't work good either but oh well! Broc is gone so we made with what we had:)
(and if they look uneven it's cuz it's hard to hold your head perfectly straight while taking your own pic or trying to slouch to be in the one a 4 year old is taking...haha)

ok ladies...if you are anything like me and like to shop (even window shopping since that's mostly what i have to do) then you MUST SEE this movie! It was so cute, i just had to laugh because of the reality it shows with alot of people and spending money, using credit cards...ect. We all can relate to that in one way or another....don't deny it! haha. Anywho i went with a group of girlfriends from high school and we had so much fun. (Tatum we missed you, i can't wait to see that baby though!)

{Jackson Hole}

Today was such a FUN day for our little family! It couldn't have gone better. We headed up to Jackson and went to the Elk Refuge, where we got to go on a sleigh ride to see all the thousands of elk. It was so incredible to be that close to them! If you haven't done this, you need to, we had a great time. And the kids were in heaven just being outside. They cared more about the horses that were pulling our sleigh so we of course had to take pics when we got done. We couldn't have chose a better day either, it was so nice!
Then we ate lunch at a place that had the best salad bar (that is like my favorite thing!) Then we headed over to the Jackson Rec center to take the kids swimming. They had a blast! I'm sad i didn't take any pics of that but i didn't want to take my camera in the pool area. We had never taken Pays swimming and he had a great time, he went down the big water slide with Broc and the little one all by himself! He helped Brylee be more brave in the water cuz watching him made her want to be more daring. It is the funnest place to take kids cuz there's a huge kiddy area with 1-2 Ft. water that they can just walk around in. Another place you should go if you have kids! (too bad Rexburg can't get something like that...grrr) My kids need swimming lessons! Anyways, i'm so glad we had such a great day (a much needed one at that!) Thanks Broc for everything, your the best!!!

The guide offered to take pics so we tried to get a family one but it's blurry and pays is kind of hidden but oh well, we tried!

{Proud}

Every morning Brylee has a routine....she wakes up, comes into my bathroom, takes off her pullup and puts it in the garbage and puts on undies. She must not like having a wet pullup on, which i wouldn't either! So this last week she went about 4 nights in a row without peeing in her pullup and she would show me every morning "look mom, i didn't pee in my pullup!"
So the other morning i was cleaning her room up and noticed on her shelf that she had hung her dry pullup on display for all to see....what a proud moment! A dry pullup, can't get much better than that at almost 4 years old!
