{Colbie Concert}

I went to the Colbie Caillat concert a few weeks ago with some friends. We had so much fun, and the concert was great. It's always a hoot with these girls, lots of laughs that's for sure. I get to go to Vegas in 2 days too, I'm feeling pretty spoiled about now. It's been so long since i've been somewhere nice and warm. I can't wait for summer!!!!

I got to watch my cousin's baby for a little while the other day. He's so cute! And I can't believe all that hair! Steph thanks for letting me watch him. My kids loved it. Someday kids....;)

{Brownie}

Brylee got to bring the class dog home this last weekend. His name is Brownie and she just adores dogs so this was quite a treat for her. I would love to get her a dog someday but just thinking of cleaning up poop and taking care of one more "kid" doesn't sound fun at the time since these two kiddos are so much work as it is! Anyways....She had a lot of fun with Brownie and wanted to have some pictures of her and Brownie together. So here is their little photoshoot:)

{Lesson Learned...i hope}

2 weeks ago things got suspicious. Everytime I went into Bry's closet I could smell pee. Not really strong but enough that I would search and search to see if there was a pull-up or dirty underwear shoved somewhere. Well I sprayed some cleaner on the carpet thinking she maybe had left something sitting on the carpet and it made it smell or something.

Well last Wednesday morning I walked into her closet to get her clothes for school. And the smell was SO strong. I immediately bent down where there was a big pile of clothes she had pulled off her shelves the night before and I started picking them up and feeling them and smelling them. Yuck i know! And then I picked up a wet sock.....then I discovered a HUGE wet spot on the carpet. I yelled for her to come in the room and for about 20 minutes she denied peeing in her closet and kept telling me that her friends did it. NO NO Bry you haven't had friends over for like a week! So then she finally broke down into tears and admitted peeing in there about 3 times (we think it was more than that) Anyways...long story short I shampooed and cleaned it 3 times and it wouldn't come out so we tore up the carpet. Thankfully Broc has a friend who lays carpet so he came and put a new piece in that day. That pad was soaked so there is no way it would have came out. GOTTA LOVE KIDS:)



If this happens again......there will be an auction for kids on here:) HAHAHA j/k Lets just hope she learned her lesson....especially after seeing me so mad;)

A couple of my FAV things....

Lately has been so crazy around here. I will give a little insight to what the past month has been like..... First off, 3 weeks ago I had a miscarriage and had to get a D&C. It was hard and frustrating but I now feel that the timing was just not right with it anyways and things will work out, they always do:) Then Broc has been going to Boise to take classes so he can become Certified in Appraising which means he can get FHA Approved which means that he can take on more work. YAY! That will be a huge blessing for us. So about 3 different weeks in a row he had to make the long drive to Boise and we are thankful for my brother and his wife for letting Broc stay there. He just finished his last course this last friday and is now done with his classes!!! Now he has to get approved by the state and take another huge test. We will be so glad to have this over with. In this Economy it is essential that he gets this done though.
So all while he has come and gone to Boise and I have been working like mad we have all pretty much been sick. I was very sick over Valentines weekend which was not so fun since we got to go to a cabin with some friends for the weekend. I'm still sick as we speak....it's lasting forever! But I think as February comes to an end, things will slow down a bit and hopefully we are all getting better. Sorry to get off track but that leads me to a couple of my Fav things....

Every heard of Zumba?? It's so fun and so addicting. This is the only pic I could find online but I have been taking a Zumba class for a few months now and I am so in love with it! It is such a good workout. I have noticed a huge difference and it puts me in such a good mood. The gym just doesn't do it for me. Too boring! I have no motivation at the gym and where i used to dance, this class is something that I can have fun with but get a great workout! I have missed dancing for so long and I love that I have found something that is close to it.


Along with being so sick I have had to try many many "drugs" to find something that made me feel a little better. For days I have had a sore throat and sleeping with it has been miserable. I don't know why it took me a few days to remember this stuff because we LOVE this stuff when we are sick. But when I remembered how great it is and took it I slept SO much better! I highly recommend this if you have a soar throat and congestion.


There you have it, now you may know why blogging has been put last on my list of things to do. Things are just crazy around here. I think they will slow down though....Well maybe not. I am really busy at the salon and the kids will never slow me down so i guess not! HA!

First Dance Performance....and stage fright!

Last week Brylee had her first dance performance. I was really excited and nervous for her and also a little sad that her dad couldn't be there. Broc had to be in Boise for classes so he missed it. We went to South Fremont High School where they performed at half time. Thank goodness Brylee's teacher, Michelle has patience! hahaha While waiting to go out Brylee kept pulling her dress up over her head and ripped it pretty good. Then when she was out there she didn't do quite a bit of the dance because she was just staring at all the people BEHIND her. HAHAHA. Oh man I was not surprised though...this girl has a very small attention span. Then when they were all done everyone ran off the floor and Brylee was still just standing there! She was so cute though and did pretty dang good for it being her first time! She performs at Madison tomorrow night so i'm hoping she does a little better:) Thanks for everything Michelle...Brylee loves dance!

Colbie Caillat here i come!!!

Yep that's right....I got tickets to my favorite singers concert!!! I got an email a couple days ago saying she was coming to Pocatello and Broc was like "you better get ya a ticket". So i did!!! I'm going with some friends and I CAN'T WAIT!!! Good ending to a not so fun week (I will explain later....)

{Winter Blues???}

Ok I know it's that time of year when we all kind of get those wintery blues. Holidays are over....snow and cold are still here....you get the picture right? So i'm doing a special in the salon that only goes until the 31st. Get a FREE cut with a color now through Jan 31st!!! It's a really good deal and I just decided to do it for this last part of the month before I kick into Valentines specials next month. Contact me if you are interested!

{New Years Day} Happy 2010!

I finally figured out how to get my pics off my camera so there is an overload of pictures and posts!

New Years day we went to my parents house and pulled the kids around on my dads 4 wheeler. It was alot of fun! My brother Trav and his wife and kids were there too. The kids had a ton of fun and did not want to go inside. We were glad to finally get some snow for some of the holidays since we didn't really have much for Christmas. It is so pretty out at my parents when it snows because of all the trees. I still can't believe it's 2010! I remember 10 years ago and everyone thought the world was going to end. HA! I'm glad it didn't because the last 10 years have been the best years yet!

Christmas was so fun with these two being a little older. They got what they wanted and more. WAY too spoiled. Broc also spoiled me and got me a new video camera, it's so small and cute it scares me to use it! Christmas wouldn't be what it is without family though. We went to my parents later that day and ate ate ate and played games. I am mad i didn't take any pics out there. Overall a great Christmas!
