It's a.....

Here I am at 19 Weeks....I am now 20 weeks and I think I have doubled in size over a week. I did have my ultra sound today and we took the kids and made it a family event! I have only gained 11 lbs, which surprised me but made me so happy! Everything looked great.....especially the part where she said "your having another girl!". It made me tear up and it made the whole thing seem more real knowing what the baby is:) Brylee is SO excited to get a baby sister and Payson is just excited to have a baby. Broc is a little scared about having another girl but I think he will be wrapped around her little finger when she gets here. And I am way excited to start getting things ready for our new baby girl!!!:)

Spud Harvest

Those of you who do not live here may not know but every October school is let out for a week (some schools two) for "Spud Harvest". This is when the farmers get all their potatoes out of the ground and into the potato cellars before it freezers. Alot of locals around here take time out of their regular jobs to work in spud harvest because they enjoy it so much. Broc is one of these "locals":) He LOVES this kind of thing and usually he just drives truck but this year he was able to run a digger. Payson and Brylee have been able to take turns going to ride with him and today I rode with him and Payson. It's a tough job, i'm not sure how he goes back and forth all day in that field without getting dizzy:) But he loves it! They should be done in a day or two and I am so excited. It has been a LONG two or more weeks. I have had 2 sick kids and had to arrange alot of babysitting for my work schedule. But I love to see how excited Payson is when he gets to ride with his daddy!! He is sure a daddy's boy.

Stuffed Animals and Sophie

Sophie is ALWAYS dragging out stuffed animals and Barbies and My little ponies from Brylee's closet. I just think it's so funny because I will have the house so clean and no toys out and pretty soon I always see this dog scampering down the hall with a stuffed animal or barbie or pony. It's like she really likes the girls toys! SO strange. And SO annoying at times because she can be quite messy. I swear I pick up more after her than I do the kids. The funniest thing she likes to drag out is a stuffed My little Pony that is twice her size and she will drag it around. I need to catch a picture of that.

*And Brylee thinks that laptop is hers now because I got a new one so she tells everyone that it's hers because she learned to play games on PBSKids.org (great site BTW) She's funny....

Thank goodness for "Bee Potion"!!!

Brylee has been stung this year by a Bee and we got one stuck in our car last week and many other scary experiences with Bees. So she developed a Bee phobia and it got so bad that she was not going out to play with friends and wouldn't play at recess and when she would get off the bus after school she would bawl all the way down our road because she was so scared. And the bees have been pretty thick this year for some reason, especially at our house because we have a ton of flowers. So her sweet teacher, Mrs. Judy, came up with the cute idea of some "Bee Potion" to keep in a spray bottle that Brylee could carry out at recess and everywhere else, which has been the case so far:) Well it worked! She played great at recess that day and has been venturing outside a little more each day since. It is just not like Brylee to not be outside ALL day long in the nice weather. And the weather has been so nice these last couple of weeks. So thank goodness for her awesome teacher and for "Bee Potion" (which is just water but she doesn't have to know that:))

Our little *CheerLeader*

Brylee did a cheer clinic a few weeks ago for the first Madison Home game. It was so cute to watch her. She had alot of fun and looked adorable. It is so fun to watch her grow and be able to figure out what she is into. I think she might be a sports girl but we will see. She sure can hit a ball with a bat. For now she was our little Cheerleader! Girl after my own heart;)

Payson's in Preschool!

Isn't he so handsome? I love this little guy. I kiss his cheeks all the time and he is now starting to wipe them off:( BUT he is so tender hearted that after he does that, he demands me do it again so I won't feel bad that he wiped it off:) He is SOFT! He started Preschool a couple of weeks ago and is loving it so far. I am so sad to see him grow up but he is going to be a great big brother to baby #3. He is always telling me that my belly is getting bigger...i try to take it in a cute way because really I am growing so fast. We find out what the baby will be on October 14th and can't wait so I can start shoppin' and sewin'!! I am determined to sew for this baby and try to be "crafty" which I am usually not! I need a hobby though since Broc has about 1,000 of them;)

KINDERGARTEN!

Brylee had her first day of KINDERGARTEN last week! WOW....It is still so weird that I have a child that is in kindergarten. She has loved it so far and she is so smart, I know she will do so well. I have to take her everyday and then she gets to ride the bus home. It is so fun to see her get off the bus at the end of our street and run home and hug Payson with a big smile on her face:) She is such a joy and we love her so much! Congrats Brylee!!!

This girl can pose for pictures! HA.

Payson starts preschool this week....crazy! They are growing up!

Surprise getaway!

This last weekend Broc took me on a little get away to Jackson Hole to stay a night and golf at Hunstman Springs in Driggs. (his anniversary present for me, he surprised me with) WOW...that golf course was amazing. This Golf course is usually around $300 or something to golf on. Broc has some connections and got us on free! It was SO pretty, as you can see our view of the Tetons. We ate lunch at their clubhouse after and the food was also amazing. After golfing saturday morning we headed up to Jackson where we spent the rest of the day walking around, laying around, a little shopping and just enjoying some relaxation. It was a fast little trip but so fun and I love how Jackson is so close to home but yet you feel like you are so far away because of how different it is up there. It was the perfect get away!

Thanks Broc!

A Celebration and some News....

I apologize for being so bad at blogging, this summer has been crazy to say the least. Today is Broc and I's 8 year anniversary. I can't believe it! I got married so young but I would never change anything about that decision. I married my best friend and I have grown closer to him more and more since I really had to grow up with him.:) 18 is young! HA!
He has a fun weekend planned for us and I can't wait! He is always telling me he just wants me to be happy and I am just happy to have him and my kiddos. There's always the frustrating times don't get me wrong, no marriage is perfect but I'd like to think mine is close to it. Love you B!

AND.....another announcement I finally feel good about giving is that we are expecting baby #3 around March 6!!! I had another ultra sound today and we got to see the little thing in there and everything was perfect. I am over 11 weeks so I figured I could share the news to those who don't know:) We are really excited and the kids are too. Brylee did say today though "If your baby is a boy I will NOT help take care of it". She kind of wants a sister:) She is a handful lately so I hope I can make it through this pregnancy sane....

Kay Family Rendezvous

My mom put on a fun family reunion in July for our immediate family. It was a blast. Good food, a jump house and pool, Olympic games to go along with an Olympic theme..."A Generation of Champions", an awesome talent show, camping in the yard, movie on the side of the house with projector and so much more! I did learn how talented everyone was at the talent show. My nieces did Bon Qui Qui...if you haven't seen the youtube video, look it up! My nephews were Napoleon and Pedro (Classic!) Jamon even did a dance:) Brylee Hula hooped, Broc roped a fake cow and mom and dad told a classic old tale. There was more too! It was good memories and we will all cherish it forever. Family is truly the greatest gift we have. Thanks to mom for all her hard work to make this reunion happen! We love you mom and dad!
