We had a pretty low key Halloween this year, as is any other Holiday this year because Broc misses out on a lot with his new job at UPS.   We are so thankful for this job and the benefits so we can’t complain!  He is working nights for them from 5-9 right now and he is working his way up so he can drive for them.  I am SO happy about this and so is Broc.  We have been self employed with his appraising career, and that has had its ups and downs but we are just ready for stability and to know we have a good future ahead of us.  We couldn’t feel more blessed about this opportunity!  So this year for Halloween I was on my own with the kiddos.  They were so much fun though!  Brylee and Payson are old enough that trick or treating is more fun than it is work now.  I don’t have to do anything but walk with them and they will run and ring the door bells.  So cute!  Reese stayed home with Grandma Sandy and passed out candy while I took the older two trick or treating.  We sure missed Broc, but it was still a great Halloween!  Love my kids so much!

{7 Months}

Reese.7months 016 Reese.7months 010

Here is our little Reese at 7 months!  This was two months ago, she is now about 9 months:(  Time is flying by!  She is an Angel.  I will have to find her stats and update those on here as well.

{First Foods}

DSCN1101 This was one of Reese’s first times eating baby food.  When I first started to offer it to her I got frustrated a little bit because I forgot how sometimes it can take a while for them to really “like” it.  And I knew she was hungry but she LOVES it now and will eat pretty much anything I give her.  This was a few months ago…I am extremely behind on blogging so bear with me!:)

Fashion Show!

 DSCN1063 DSCN1064 DSCN1065

I was lucky enough to be invited to this amazing Fashion Show/Charity Event that was held in Island Park by my sweet client Connie.  She wanted to give women an opportunity to attend a Women of Faith Conference she and her mom attend every year in Montana.  So her mom, Irene who is Lindsey’s client, has a clothing boutique in Southern California… where she just moved from.  She was able to get all the clothing and a certain percentage of the sales went to help raise money so that women who cannot afford it, could go to this conference.  Such a great cause!  They had a yummy lunch that was catered by Connie (this was an invite only event so very very fancy! Even had valet parking! So fun.) and had models walk out and around the tables with the clothing on so that the women could see what it looked like on and purchase what they wanted.  Me and Linds were invited along to do the hair for the models.  I wish I would have taken pics of all the models but we were too busy.  It was SO neat and her house is BEAUTIFUL!  We can’t wait for the next FASHION SHOW!:)  Such a great opportunity and I have had many new clients from this event:)  I just love my clients, they are like family.

6 Months old!

DSCN1107 DSCN1103 DSCN1105 DSCN1106

Reese turned 6 months!  I can’t believe it, I’m not sure where the time has gone.  She is such a little joy in our lives.  SO happy.  She sleeps through the night and loves to be talked to.  She holds on like a little monkey when I carry her around and those little hands are always grabbing anything we walk past.  She is sitting up and starting to Coo at everything.  She has the chubbiest, kissable cheeks and we are always playing with them or kissing them:)  I will have to do another post with her stats because I am behind on getting her in…mainly because I hate shots!

We sure do love her little Reesey Piecy!

PlayMill 2011

DSCN1032 DSCN1033 DSCN1026 DSCN1029 DSCN1030In July we went to the Playmill with Broc’s family for his sisters birthday.  We hadn’t been to the Playmill for a long time and it was SO fun!  We had a great time eating pizza at a really good place before and then heading to the show and of course we had to get some fudge there:)  I feel so lucky that we live so close to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole.  It’s always a good time to go on a weekend to get away.  Did you know that Harrison Ford lives in Jackson?  Well he does and his wife…Calista Flockhart was at the Rexburg pool last week!  My friend text me and was sitting right next to her.  She had brought her kids down to Bear World from Jackson and they stopped to swim!  what a funny thing for Rexburg but it was neat to hear about it from my friend:)  We really are blessed to live here…minus the 8 months of winter we have!!!  I could live without that but otherwise its great, living so close to so many great things.  And if you haven’t been to Playmill, I recommend going because it’s so fun for the kids.

Sisters

DSCN1056 DSCN1059 DSCN1035 DSCN1037 DSCN1043 DSCN1044 DSCN1050Brylee has just loves and adores this little sister of hers.  She takes such good care of her.  It melts my heart to see these two together…even Payson is so cute with her too.  Brylee loves to put bows in her hair and play with her.  She was fixing her hair and it was too cute to not get some pictures.  This was a while ago so Reese has grown a lot since then.  She is now sitting up and eating some foods and doing lots of jibber jabber, which is so cute to hear her talk.  What would we do without this little Reeser??  She is a doll!

Watch out First Grade!!!

Brylee started First Grade today!  So crazy.  She was NOT happy when we got there and didn’t really want anything to do with her friends but by the time we went to pick her up she had so much fun and loved it!  Hopefully she can get used to mornings…those aren’t her specialty;)  She even asked me to cut bangs and put in a pink extension piece in her hair for school...she was excited about that!  She looked so cute.  We love you Bry boo!!DSCN1117 DSCN1118 DSCN1113 DSCN1114 DSCN1115

{4th of July}

Kids.summer2011 224 Brylee showing her feathers~

   This Fourth of July we took it easy and it was so nice.  Having a new baby just slows things down a bit.  It was a really hot day but pretty windy so we did the whole parade thing, which we have to do for the kids but let me just say that Rexburg has the.most.LAME  parade I’ve ever seen.   We used to have great ones when Ricks College was here and everyone did floats.  Now it’s just trucks and trailers and a million dance groups  but oh well it’s not for me it is for the kids:)  Then we went to lunch at Gringos with Broc’s parents. After that we let the kids play, had a BBQ  with the Ferney family and then did our own fireworks show.  We didn’t want to take Reese down to the IF ones this year and I’m glad we didn’t because of the wind.  Over all it was a great year and the kids enjoyed all the fun!
