{Obsessed}

We have a little obsession at our house. Payson has this LOVE for anything like a truck, tractor, skid-steer...etc. We drop Brylee off at school each morning and when we get home, as i'm pulling into the garage i hear "Pay outhide mom? peath mom." How can i tell that NO?!?? I can't. So even if he is in jammies, i sometimes let him run straight to his trucks when we get home. Dirt washes out, i'm not worried. I just love seeing him enjoy something that much.

There is one spot on the side of the driveway that doesn't have bark yet....well it's kind of the sandbox but with dirt. He keeps his trucks out there and plays in it ALL day.

He even organizes all his equipment....

Battle Wounds

Brylee crashed her bike the other day and has had one big goose bump on the forehead, plus a swollen and scabbed bottom lip (which got cut out of the pic, but she was not wanting to hold still very long). And this pic doesn't do justice. She had little scrapes all over her face plus on her arm. She gets hurt so much because she's so active. It's so embarrassing when i take her to school and all the other moms look at her and say all concerned "What happened!?" So hopefully no one gets the wrong idea and turns me in HAHA. She's healing pretty good so i'm glad she is ok, she's a little toughy!

I LOVE this picture. These two have been playing so well these last few days. That has been a huge help to me since Broc is working 14 hour days lately. We miss him so much when he's gone and sometimes i want to pull my hair out but having Brylee in school everyday has helped. Payson misses her when she's at school though.

What did i do without these two?? I love them so much.

Look at that cutie patootie....should i be worried??? She's one muscly little fart and very beautiful. Maybe I'm just bias but i just think she's adorable. She is growing up on me and this pic proves it. She looks way too old in those pink high heels:)

{Joseph Grant}

This is my new nephew who belongs to my sister....Joseph Grant Swensen. He has some history behind that name. My grandma Grover who just passed, her middle name was Josephine...and my grandpa who has been gone for years (i never even met him it's been that long) his name was Grant. So i love this name and this baby. Isn't he so cute?!

{Dance}

Brylee started dance today (kind of a big week for her). She is busy busy this year. I have to pick her up early from school every Wednesday and off to dance we go! She was SO excited when we got there. That made me very happy because i was nervous that she wouldn't get into it that much. She did great as far as i could tell.....I was just glad she actually participated:) She has a great teacher so i know it will be a fun year! And she looked so dang cute in her little dance outfit!!

{First Day of Preschool}

Brylee started preschool today. She is doing 5 days a week this year and we are very excited about it. She is a busy girl and this will be so good for her! She loves her teacher and i'm sure she will make some new fun friends at school. I can't believe how big she is getting. Makes me sad to see her grow up. We love you Brylee!!!

Who needs a swimsuit anyways??

Payson doesn't! Especially when mom does the laundry. This kid is always getting his clothes wet. Today Brylee put the sprinkler on the tramp and he just jumped right in and soaked his clothes until his pants fell off...

"Because We're Getting Married..."

So Brylee has this cute friend that lives down the street....his name is Zach. Every day she asks if she can go see if he can play. They get along really well. The other day i had set up Brylee's soccer goal game and those two were hanging out in the front so i asked them if they would like to go out back and play soccer. Zach was excited and took of running and said "YEAH lets go Brylee!" and she says "YEAH because we're getting married!" And they held hands and ran back to play some soccer and catch lady bugs (we have a million lady bugs in our new grass, i don't know what the deal is). HAHA i love how cute these two are with eachother. I wanted to record this for when they are older. Too cute.

{7 Years}

On the 16th Broc and I had our 7 year anniversary. We had Co-ed softball tournament that weekend so we planned our little get away for the next weekend. We had originally planned on going to utah but Broc won this 2 night stay at the Sawtelle Mountain Resort in Island Park and so we decided to use that instead. I am so glad we did because it was the funnest weekend. The cabin we stayed in was so nice and had a hot tub and was about 3 stories. It's a place where you can rent cabins or hotels or even camp spots and there's an indoor pool there too. It was so nice!
We got there late friday night and watched Twlight when we got there because Broc read the book this last week in 4 days! I know i couldn't believe it either, but he really liked the book so he had to see the movie again. Then Saturday we slept in and then took a ride on the mule (it's an ATV not a donkey;) haha) to Bigsprings to feed the fish, then we looped around to Ponds Lodge and had lunch. Then we headed back to the cabin and met up with our friends, the Pena's to go on another Mule ride up to Sawtelle and then to grill out. We made some dang good food, i was sick after we ate! We watched 2 more movies that night and went to bed way too late but it was so nice and relaxing to just hang out with my hubby and not have to fight screaming kids:) I did miss them though and was glad to get home.
