A couple of my FAV things....

Lately has been so crazy around here. I will give a little insight to what the past month has been like..... First off, 3 weeks ago I had a miscarriage and had to get a D&C. It was hard and frustrating but I now feel that the timing was just not right with it anyways and things will work out, they always do:) Then Broc has been going to Boise to take classes so he can become Certified in Appraising which means he can get FHA Approved which means that he can take on more work. YAY! That will be a huge blessing for us. So about 3 different weeks in a row he had to make the long drive to Boise and we are thankful for my brother and his wife for letting Broc stay there. He just finished his last course this last friday and is now done with his classes!!! Now he has to get approved by the state and take another huge test. We will be so glad to have this over with. In this Economy it is essential that he gets this done though.
So all while he has come and gone to Boise and I have been working like mad we have all pretty much been sick. I was very sick over Valentines weekend which was not so fun since we got to go to a cabin with some friends for the weekend. I'm still sick as we speak....it's lasting forever! But I think as February comes to an end, things will slow down a bit and hopefully we are all getting better. Sorry to get off track but that leads me to a couple of my Fav things....

Every heard of Zumba?? It's so fun and so addicting. This is the only pic I could find online but I have been taking a Zumba class for a few months now and I am so in love with it! It is such a good workout. I have noticed a huge difference and it puts me in such a good mood. The gym just doesn't do it for me. Too boring! I have no motivation at the gym and where i used to dance, this class is something that I can have fun with but get a great workout! I have missed dancing for so long and I love that I have found something that is close to it.


Along with being so sick I have had to try many many "drugs" to find something that made me feel a little better. For days I have had a sore throat and sleeping with it has been miserable. I don't know why it took me a few days to remember this stuff because we LOVE this stuff when we are sick. But when I remembered how great it is and took it I slept SO much better! I highly recommend this if you have a soar throat and congestion.


There you have it, now you may know why blogging has been put last on my list of things to do. Things are just crazy around here. I think they will slow down though....Well maybe not. I am really busy at the salon and the kids will never slow me down so i guess not! HA!

First Dance Performance....and stage fright!

Last week Brylee had her first dance performance. I was really excited and nervous for her and also a little sad that her dad couldn't be there. Broc had to be in Boise for classes so he missed it. We went to South Fremont High School where they performed at half time. Thank goodness Brylee's teacher, Michelle has patience! hahaha While waiting to go out Brylee kept pulling her dress up over her head and ripped it pretty good. Then when she was out there she didn't do quite a bit of the dance because she was just staring at all the people BEHIND her. HAHAHA. Oh man I was not surprised though...this girl has a very small attention span. Then when they were all done everyone ran off the floor and Brylee was still just standing there! She was so cute though and did pretty dang good for it being her first time! She performs at Madison tomorrow night so i'm hoping she does a little better:) Thanks for everything Michelle...Brylee loves dance!

Colbie Caillat here i come!!!

Yep that's right....I got tickets to my favorite singers concert!!! I got an email a couple days ago saying she was coming to Pocatello and Broc was like "you better get ya a ticket". So i did!!! I'm going with some friends and I CAN'T WAIT!!! Good ending to a not so fun week (I will explain later....)

{Winter Blues???}

Ok I know it's that time of year when we all kind of get those wintery blues. Holidays are over....snow and cold are still here....you get the picture right? So i'm doing a special in the salon that only goes until the 31st. Get a FREE cut with a color now through Jan 31st!!! It's a really good deal and I just decided to do it for this last part of the month before I kick into Valentines specials next month. Contact me if you are interested!

{New Years Day} Happy 2010!

I finally figured out how to get my pics off my camera so there is an overload of pictures and posts!

New Years day we went to my parents house and pulled the kids around on my dads 4 wheeler. It was alot of fun! My brother Trav and his wife and kids were there too. The kids had a ton of fun and did not want to go inside. We were glad to finally get some snow for some of the holidays since we didn't really have much for Christmas. It is so pretty out at my parents when it snows because of all the trees. I still can't believe it's 2010! I remember 10 years ago and everyone thought the world was going to end. HA! I'm glad it didn't because the last 10 years have been the best years yet!

Christmas was so fun with these two being a little older. They got what they wanted and more. WAY too spoiled. Broc also spoiled me and got me a new video camera, it's so small and cute it scares me to use it! Christmas wouldn't be what it is without family though. We went to my parents later that day and ate ate ate and played games. I am mad i didn't take any pics out there. Overall a great Christmas!

We stayed at Brocs parents on Christmas eve and had a really nice Christmas morning with them. His sister Shurron and her cute little family were there too. Our kids were fun this year! They were loving all the little things like the Reindeer Food and cookies for Santa and also Christmas jammies.

Brylee had a Christmas Program for Preschool and it was so fun and cute to see them all singing and being so excited when Santa walked into the room. Brylee sang her little heart out and She was a very pretty Angel:)

Where do Babies come from???

Tonight I let Brylee come with me to the salon to put a color in a friends hair. She was so good, she is just growing up on me. After that we went to dinner with Broc and Payson, and we drove seperate because they had some errands to run first. We climbed into the car and our car is still fairly new to us because we've only had it a couple month. It's a Tahoe and we keep the third seat folded up in the back. Brylee looked back there when she climbed in the car and this is how our conversation went:

Brylee- Mom I have an idea...when you have two babies they can both sit back there in that seat.
Me-Oh I don't think I will have two babies, that would be a lot of work! I think one baby is enough. (no i'm not pregnant...we are talking future here)
A few minutes go by and she had to ask....
Brylee-Mom...where do babies come from?
Me-They come from Heaven
Brylee-How do they get here?
Me-Heavenly father puts them in the mommies belly so it can grow healthy and strong
Brylee-(after some deep thought) Well how does he get the baby in there?
Me-(I was not prepared for this conversation as you can tell) He plants a seed and the baby grows from that little seed. Its kind of magic.
Brylee-Hey I have a plan mom....we could get a flower pot like grandmas and plant the seed in it and it would grow big like a flower!

And from there I let her take her imagination where she wanted it to go....I did not know what more to say for fear of the oncoming questions that she would be throwing out there. Lets just say I can't believe how smart kids are and how much and how deep they think about things. She is a sweetheart and even though she is busy busy busy we love her to pieces.

I apologize to whoever didn't get a card.....I either didn't have your address or I ran out of envelopes;) I had a few more people on my list and ran short of envelopes and just never found time to go get more. So I hope this will do! And I will be back to blogging as soon as I can figure out why my computer won't let me get pics off my camera.....wish me luck.
