{Winter Days}

I was looking through my camera and noticed that there are some random pics that I have never posted and I just wanted to catch up a little bit on what's going on with us. The snow has been great for my kids.....the cold not so much. That cold spell we had for a few days was not fun and my kids couldn't even go outside. It seems like they have had non stop colds this winter. So we are glad to finally have some snow (we would rather have that than the cold!) and we hope to get more for Christmas! Especially because Payson LOVES to shovel:)

These two have been playing so good except that Payson has learned that he is not going to put up with his sister bossing him around all the time. A couple of weeks ago she was being her bossy old self and was right in his face.....well he reached up with both hands and pinched her cheeks pretty hard. She had some nice scabs for a few days. Broc just laughs because he has said for a long time to Brylee "You better be careful because someday Payson will be as big as you and he won't put up with that". And it's true he is getting bigger and is NOT putting up with it! It's good for her, she needs to be put in her place once in a while:)

This is her after she frosted some cookies we baked the other day(wearing her cute apron Grandma Kay made for her)....

(Don't mind the messy hairdo, she can't seem to keep it very descent for a whole day:) )

{Birthday #26}

Birthdays are just not what they used to be but all i know is we are so lucky to have so many great friends! They are what made my birthday so great!! We all went to dinner and The Blindside on friday (amazing movie BTW). Then Saturday we kind of took it easy and got Christmas all put up. Then Sunday (my actual bday) we ended up sleeping in until 8:30, which was great! I told Broc we needed to make it to the last two hours of church and he suggested going to see Grandma Kay. She has been out of the hospital for a couple weeks now and we hadn't been to see her. I loved that idea so we loaded up the kids and headed to Driggs. I always love going up to the valley, it's so pretty, especially where G'ma lives because she's right against the mountains and has a wonderul view of the Tetons. It was so good to visit with Grandma, I always feel so full of knowledge when I leave her house. First thing she said to me when we got there was "Hey your a hair lady, you can curl my hair" HA so I grabbed an ancient curling iron out of her vanity drawer and curled her hair the best i could with what i had to work with. I would have taken my own tools had i know she wanted her hair done! I would have taken scissors too for that matter. Anyways we headed home around 12:30 because Broc had planned a little party for me with a few friends. There happened to be a Dallas game on at the same time as my party....hmmmmmm.....it was fun though! Good company and Good food! I just enjoy the company of our friends. I got spoiled once again from him. He always does more than he should, and i love him so much for trying so hard to make me happy. All of our friends are older then me and so when someone asked how old i was turning and i said 26 they looked at Broc and he said "Yep she's just a baby". Then I told them to ask him when he married me and he said "18". He gets alot of crap for that! HAHA Its funny...that seems like SO long ago.

Over all a great Birthday weekend! Thanks for all the calls and Texts, I am so lucky to have so many friends and family who care about me!

{Thanksgiving Program}

I will admit, i have been terrible at taking pics and blogging lately! I am sorry to some of you who keep tabs on me;) haha j/k I have just been at the salon ALOT lately and have had to spend all my extra time cleaning my house and taking care of my children who hate when i have to go to work. It's really hard to leave when they don't want me to go but it's so nice to get out of the house a few times a week. I love my kids and husband so much and this Thanksgiving was another reminder of all that i am thankful for. Family is the most important thing and nothing else should come before it.

Brylee had her Thanksgiving Program for her prechool class and it was fun to see her get up there and sing songs and do the actions to them because she never shows me at home what she has learned. She comes out of her shell around her teachers. Her preschool is amazing and it has been so good for her. She really has learned alot and has taught us a few things she has learned. For example one day i gave her something to eat and i could tell she really didn't want it, I was waiting for the "I don't want that!" but instead she looked at me and said "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit". I was shocked!!! She told me that she learned it from Miss Kari (her teacher). So i think it's been well worth it to have her in it.

We love you "Brylee-Boo"
