{Memorial Day 2009}

(I am a little behind so there might be a lot of posts coming so please if it's too much i understand but i gotta get it down in here or it won't be recorded anywhere else! Ha!)

Memorial Day we headed up to Island Park to meet up with some friends who invited us to their cabin. We took the Mule which is my father in law's new toy. Its a pretty fun little ride. He also came with us and we went and enjoyed some 4 wheeling and riding the Mule, and also roasted hot dogs and smores. Then we headed back down to town and went to the Kerbs' house for a BBQ. It was an eventful day and i'm so glad we have so many fun friends to enjoy things like this with!

{Nugget}

Sunday evening we went out and let the kids ride on Nugget for a little while. I am so excited to ride this year. This is my horse that my dad gave me when he was just a colt. I think he is 9 this year. Anyways the kids really enjoy him, he is so mellow now that they can just sit on him and we know he'll be good with them. I braided his hair to help it even out a little since the other horses have been chewing on it and it looks terrible. So hopefully when i take those out it will look a little better. (you would think i am a hairstylist or something...hahaha!)

{Little Kitty's}

So when we walked in the door from church on Sunday i immediately started dinner and Broc went to take the sacrament to some old folks (this is his calling) and so i looked over to see that my two kiddos were being two kitty's. They are so cute when they actually play together. Brylee is always making Payson be her kitty and she gets food and water (as shown above) and makes a nice mess for mom to clean up after they get bored with this. She was also being a kitty this time too though. It's so funny because Payson crawls around with his tongue hanging out and meowing. I love that they are playing together more and more...

{The Park}

Payson did not like the swing all that much

They decided to run through the park sprinklers in their clothes. Brylee is looking at my camera and Emma and Eliza are looking at their moms...haha how cute!

Last week Me and my friend Ashley took our kids to the park on a very hot day. It was really good for the kids to get out and i look forward to much more of this in the summer! Her friends Emma and Eliza are so cute and we had a fun time with them. Thanks Ashley for the invite!!!

{Baby Shower} for Sarah....

Today I hosted a baby shower at my house for my bestest friend (Sarah) who i met in kindergarten way back when i was a major tomboy and we have always been able to laugh and just be nerdy so it was SO much fun to get to be with her today and of course everyone else there too! We had a great time talking and laughing about past times. I am excited to see her sweet baby girl when she arrives! (Thanks Tara for the help you are the best!)

{cupcakes provided by JustKupcakes...so yummy!}

{Silly girl}

These pics were taken a couple days ago. I again was playing with my camera and took a couple of her that ended up so cute i thought, so i made a page out of them. I want to be better about scrapbooking this year and also try to get better at it. I need to learn more about my photoshop, it's so overwhelming!

{Pre-Mothers Day Fun}

This is Tina...she is a really good golfer.

Nick...almost got a hole in one!

This is me....practice swing....notice the ball still there. hahaha

Silly Broc

Broc took me golfing on saturday for a little mothers day date and then we went to dinner with some friends to Olive Garden that night, it was such a fun day! I am a little rusty on the golf course. This was my first time going this season and only my second time using my new clubs. We had alot of fun, we went with our friends the Leishmans. Then we went to IF to dinner with The Kerbs' and their friends (i can't remember their last name). It was my first time getting a real babysitter for the kids when we went to dinner. My friend Nancy's daughter Mckenzie came over, she is 14. It was perfect! it will be so nice to have someone to call besides our parents. And the kids had a lot of fun, so i guess i will be calling her more often! Thanks for the fun day Broc:)

{No training wheels!}

This weekend we took the training wheels off of Brylee's bike out at Grandma and Grandpa Genta's house. She didn't do too much with it because her attention is more on what's going on around her instead of concentrating on just balancing on the bike! Like grandma says "she is ALL girl". I don't think it will be too long before they are off for good because she rides her bike so well with them on. We have a bike that is out there for her and one at home so i guess she can just practice out there because the one at home still has training wheels.

Grandma was helping her out so she wouldn't fall.

This is at home, i just had to take some pics because i was playing with my new camera all weekend so i got some cute shots of Bry.

She's growing up, she'll be 4 in 3 weeks!

{New Camera!}

I know i have been slacking on my blogging... but so have most of you! HA! I am sad that no one blogs anymore. I still love to and i will be better as soon as my new camera gets here!! Yes i ordered a new camera after weeks of trying to find one i wanted and saving my money. I am really sick of buying the little one's that end up delaying so bad that i can't get a good shot of my kids. So here is what my new one will look like and i hope i love it!

As for an update...things here have been good other than the nasty sinus infection i just got over. I haven't had one of those for years, but it was aweful! I'm just glad to be feeling better. The kids want to play outside all day everyday. The weather is not warming up fast enough, I don't like to sit out in the cold with them. We are anticipating getting our back yard in soon! Broc got the trampoline put in the ground so now we just need to get our grass and hopefully a fence. I want to be able to let the kids outside and not worry about having to be right there with them every second. The drive-way is not that fun to sit in and i have done that for 2 summers. Time for grass in the back!! i know i need to be patient but i think i have long enough:)
