Two of a kind....

Tonight Brylee had so much fun with her friend Taylor! We went out to their house so the men could watch some March Madness Bball and Nicole and I just hung out with our babies while these two crazy monkeys played hard! They were so funny and got a long so well. It was good to see them have so much fun, I am just sorry Nicole that your house got messed up! Brylee played so hard that when we got home she went to her closet, picked out some PJ's and put them on very quietly, then asked for some water and climbed right into bed and I turned on her primary music and she fell right to sleep! Awwwwwwww.....that's the best! I'm just glad she is sleeping better because she has been having nightmares and told me and Broc that a scary man was going to get her and that he was watching her through her window(two nights ago)!!! Scared me to death but we think it's the bad guys from 101 Dalmations that steal the puppies because she has been watching that these last few days. It just makes me so nervous that a 3 year old would say something like that.....but I am a VERY peranoid mom and I worry about EVERYTHING! I reassured her that Heavenly Father was watching over her and I turned on her primary lullaby music to help her feel at ease. So her curtains are closed by her request and she is sleeping very peaceful now. I love you Brylee!

What to do Curly Sue....

So this morning Brylee's babysitter, Nicole, put in these curlers so that we could get her pics done tonight and have some cute hair because I was at school all day and wouldn't have had time. Nicole thank you, you are the best! Her hair turned out so cute! I was nervous that Brylee wouldn't let her put them in because she hates to sit still and she won't let me use a curling iron on her either......but it turns out that she LOVED them and even took a 3 hour nap in them! When She went to lay down for her nap, Nicole said that she just laid back really still and careful on her pillow so that they wouldn't get messed up...lol....that's my girly girl for ya. So when I got there to pick the kids up at 5 I was so excited to see these cute curlers in her hair. I told her she looked like Annie and she loved that because that is her new favorite show right now.

-Now in the pics you'll see she is a little upset that one of the curlers is coming out and she says "mommy, my curler is falling out!" (with that middle R being silent) hehe

-Oh my, how aweful, it fell out! What now?

She ended up looking so beautful for the pics and Annalee did an awesome job! Thanks so much Annalee!!! You can view the pictures of Brylee and Payson by visiting her photography blog which is on my list of bloggers.

Fun with the girls...

Just wanted to share a couple pictures of some of my best "crazy" friends at school. I am with these people 40 hours a week and we have non stop fun. Friday they all came to my house for a Phase two training. Phase two is an honors program where you have to apply to be in it and you work in a seperate part of the school than the other students-tons more freedom from all the rules! We had alot of fun as always and had some great food. (our advisor Lindy is the one to the very right)

Nancy, me, and Brandi are all moms ( we like to hang out cuz we feel old with all the 18, 19 year olds that are there)haha-we all wore green to celebrate St. Patricks friday because most students don't go on mondays, except the moms.

Birthday fun with mom...

Today was a fun day. My sister and her fam came from Utah to buy our Honda :( I really wouldn't care but Broc bought a little truck that is not exactly my favorite but it's ok cuz I have my Acadia and I love it. He has to have something with good gas mileage because he drives so dang much and he also liked it for a little huntin rig. So anyways yesterday was my mom's birthday and we didn't get to do much for her because things were too crazy and my sis got here late. So today me, mom, and Whitney went to Idaho Falls (after I cut their hair), and ran some errands and went to American Eagle (I get 40% off cuz I do floor sets for them) so we got Whitney some cute clothes and picked up some other stuff, then we went to Garcias to eat and they overheard us say it was my moms birthday lunch so they all came out to sing and they put this huge Sombraro on her head while they sang....it was so funny I wished I had my camera! If you know my mom she is very quiet and conservative so she was a little embarrased but it was fun to see! (you look good in a sombraro mom!) We tried to eat the good fried ice cream they brought us but we were all way too full. Then tonight we came back and all went bowling thanks to grandpa who was excited to take the grandkids to go have some fun! Then we went to mom and dads and ate and amazing Ham that my mom cooked. It is the best recipe! I am not a meat eater at all but I love this ham. All I can say is I love my family and I love to spend time with them......Thanks for the fun day Whit and Mom! I hope everyone else had a great saturday too!

HERE COMES LIL' MISS HOLLYWOOD!!!

The minute that garage door opened, Brylee grabbed her four wheeler to take for a little spin before we got in the car to leave. The driveway finally is all cleared of the snow and Brylee is finally all better of cold/flu symptoms that she has had on and off for like two months! She was all revin to go, lookin like a little star in her sunglasses. She is so funny and I love to see her so happy to be able to go outside again! (She needs some way to get all that energy out...)

*(3 year olds are not supposed to love binky's like that!!! HELP!) -also notice the socks, she picked them out all by herself!

Breakfast is served.....

My daughter is in a weird phase where she has to choose everything she eats and wears and even what princess is on her pull-ups. I have a hard time with the whole choosing what to wear one because if any of you know me I like clothes and I like them to match! She somehow ends up picking the smallest pair of pants possible and a shirt that doesn't match. One yellow sock one pink sock.....then she finds some weird accessorie to put with it. I can tell there is going to be some issues between us if this little phase continues:)j/k. I just have to remember I have to let her be who she wants to be! The choosing what she eats isn't so much of an issue but it grosses me out sometimes......She will climb to the top of the pantry shelves and find whatever it is she wants which lately about twice a day is Top Ramen. This morning at about 9 o'clock that is what she chose and was so excited about it that I had to take a picture.

She did pick out her dress for church today and did very well! She loves Nursery and is eager to get herself dressed for church sunday mornings, which is a huge difference from the days she goes to the babysitters, I have to fight her to get ready.

My Two handsome boys all ready for church....

The book I have chosen is "One Bright Shining Hope" for women by Gordon B. Hinckley. This book is really great for women and especially mothers who just need that reassurance in life. Sometimes we find ourselves saying "Why me?" Wondering why we have been put in situations that we are in. I love the page that I turned to for this tag, I think it puts in words perfectly what mothers need to hear.

"You have nothing in this world more precious than your children. When you grow old, when your hair turns white and when your body grows weary. When you are prone to sit in a rocker and meditate on the things of your life, nothing will be so important as the questions of how your children have turned out. It will not be the money you have made. It will not be the cars you have owned. It will not be the large house in which you live. The searing question that will cross your mind again and again will be "How well have my children done?"

-Gordon B. Hinckley
