First ride of the year

My dad on his horse...Doc
Broc riding Brody
This is my horse....Nugget...hate the name, need to change!
My cowboy;)

Ha Brylee and Sophie look so funny....the wind was blowing so hard. Dang wind, I could live without it!!!
I had the funnest horse ride last saturday! We just went to an indoor arena because the weather was crappy but I got to work my horse pretty good and I have been sore ever since. I am pretty dang excited to ride all summer. Last summer my horse was crippled and we almost put him down. His feet were bad (it's called foundering) after being on fresh grass all last spring and not being used all winter. I guess it's like us losing toenails and walking on those toes:/ That's how my dad put it. So he was pretty tender on the feet. After my good friends dad trimmed him up and my dad nursed him back to health, he is now doing as good as ever. Thanks to my dad for having patience and spending the time because I cried alot just thinking of putting him down. I'm so glad we didn't give up on him!

Can't wait for summer! (should be here any day I hope)

Mother's Day

I am Thankful for my mother and my mother in law. I feel blessed to have such great examples in my life. I am also very thankful that I get the opportunity to be a mother. I hope my kids will think as much of me as I do my own mother when they are all grown up. (I know they don't think a whole lot about me now unless I buy them a happy meal or something;) hahaha)

This man is so good to me. I am so blessed to have him. He is always doing something for me and puts up with alot from me. He is always doing dishes and laundry and as a working mom I am so thankful for that. Thanks Broc you mean the world to me!

Happy (way late) Mothers Day to all you mothers!!!

5 Year Well Check....(a not so fun trip!)

This pretty girl will be 5 in a month. When we went to register for Kindergarten I didn't have her immunization records so I decided to just get her shots done and get the records right then. The appointment went well and seemed to be just fine and she knew she was getting a shot. Or so we thought it was just "a shot"....oh no....it was 5 shots!!! I guess we were behind on a shot. It was horrible. I had to hold her on my lap and hold her legs with mine and hold her arms down too. The poor girl was so sad. We went and got a blizzard afterwards and that seemed to help. I felt so helpless! She is done with shots until she is 11 though. Here are her stats for my records:

Height 3 ft. 5 1/2 in.
Wight 37 lbs.
In about the 30th percentile for both
And as healthy as can be! She is ready for Kindergarten!

She dressed herself and picked out a hair flower that didn't match but it still looked cute. She insisted even after I tried to get her to wear a green flower:) She also loves to use my old purses to play with. It's about as big as her! HA! Love this girl.
