Graduation

Me and the girls

Stephy and G mama (that's what she calls me)

I know I have already talked about being done with school, but tonight was the actual "graduation ceremony". It was nice to be together with some of my friends who I have missed so much. They are all so awesome! I gained life long friends at that school and that is one thing I am most grateful for. Then afterwards me and Broc went to dinner while the kiddies were with their grandmas. I swear food tastes better when we don't have our kids to chase at dinner! But overall it was a nice evening and I am just so glad I am done.

(sorry my camera has issues, most these pics are blurry)

A workin' girl...and a very handsome boy

Isn't he hadsome??? This is Payson being a happy camper like always.

Brylee's new thing is to water the plants in the evenings. It's kind of become her chore I guess.

Payson is such a big help!

Keep up the good work Brylee!!!

A Rough but Good weekend!

OUCH!!! Fat lip on a little girl.

She's still smiling though! (a crooked smile that is)

Besides all the hurt that happened in our family this weekend it was a good one! First I got drilled in the elbow by a softball in our game friday night and I thought my arm was broke. I have low pain tolerance though:) I took ibuprofin and iced it so I could be sure I could do hair this week. I was getting worried when I couldn't bend or straighten it. Then Saturday afternoon I did my sis in law's hair and while we were at the salon Brylee was out at Ferney's playing with Bailee and her cousins when she walked behind Bailee, who was swinging on the swingset and it took Brylee out and put her tooth through her upper lip. I was told it was good that I wasn't there because there was a lot of blood, but Broc handled it well. No Stitches were needed though Thank Heavens!! Then later that day I dopped our laptop on my big toe while getting out of a Yukon! Ouch me and Brylee are sore! But it was a good weekend really. I got all my stuff set up at the salon and got to have my first official client Saturday (Thanks Audrey!) And with this nice weather we have just been outside alot letting the kids have a good time. Today was my first real day working at Radiance and it was so nice. I stayed so busy and Thanks Bree for coming it was fun!

Licensed and ready to go!!!

Well it's official, I am now a licensed cosmetologist!!! I can now breathe, relax and just not stress anymore that I wouldn't pass and not know what to tell all my clients. That was my biggest nightmare! I start at Radiance monday and Bree I'm so happy that you are my first client cuz I'm so nervous! lol I don't know why either cuz I am totally confident in my skills but oh well, I think it's just a new environment and it will be a big change from the school. So all of you that have needed colors (not many of my clients see my blog so I guess I just mean a few of you) the number to Radiance is 356-8646 or just call my cell 757-8023 and we will get ya in! Thanks for being so patient and thanks so much for all your support!!!

Fishing with Dad....

Brylee got to go fishing with her dad and grandpa last night, and when she got home she jumped out of the car she ran up to me and said "mamma I went fishing and I peed in the bushes!" What a proud moment for her that was. I love that she is getting old enough to go do things with Broc ,it gives her something fun to do and she loves it! It also gives me some time to give Payson all my attention so it works out nicely. I just wanted to blog this so I wouldn't forget it. I need to post more funny things that she says so I don't forget those either! This is my way of journaling because I'm terrible at sitting down to write in a real one.

Girl Talk and a Nice Vacation....

Brylee already loves to talk on the phone so I'm affraid it's going to be a long road from here, especially when she's a teenager! Everytime the phone rings she HAS to answer it or there is a big fit thrown. She is very funny in her conversations, and always say's "What's your name". These pics were taken the day before I left for Boise and Broc called me so she sat on the front steps to talk to him. It's just so funny how she even walks around and get's these faces like she's so concerned about what their saying! Funny girl.

We had such a good time in Boise. Shopping, sleeping and lots of eating! It can't get much better than that. We had such a nice hotel (thanks Nicole P.!) and it had this little 1 ft. Kiddie pool so I kind of wished Brylee was there but not really cuz we enjoyed the peace. We were going to go to a water park and get some sun or go golfing but I was really nervous about my tests and just actually didn't want to do a whole lot so Broc let me shop quite a bit, he was so good and didn't even complain when we were at the mall. He did get to go to Cabella's twice though! And then we ate at PF Changs and got dessert at Cheesecake Factory...YUMMO! Oh and we even watched two movies! We never see movies so it was really nice to just relax and see some new shows. We watched Drillbit Taylor (hilarious!) and we saw Fools Gold. Those are both really funny movies, my stomache hurt from laughing on both of them. Today was my test, I took it this morning and I had to wake up at 5:30...so I am pretty tired tonight. I really hope I passed cuz I wouldn't want to do that again, it was so weird! But it was so nice to go to Boise, I love that place. Thanks to the grandmas for watching the kids so we could go have a good time!!! Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

I had to take a pic of this cheesecake!!! If any of you have not had cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory you have to! It's to die for. I personally like the fresh strawberry. Me and Broc just got this little one to share cuz Broc thought it would be better than getting our own pieces but don't worry we did not finish it! I would have if I had the room after dinner:)

Yellowstone 2007

I have been playing around with this whole digital scrapbooking and I found these cute pics of Broc and the kids from last summer that I wanted to make a page out of. I just love them! Broc's favorite thing is the outdoors and it's so sweet to me to see him in these pics just enjoying watching the elk with this two favorite little people:) I love to see him share things like this with the kids. Payson was pretty little so in the bottom pic Broc is protecting him from the breeze (so cute!) In the middle pic there are elk in the background but they are hard to see unless you can click on the page and view it closer. I am loving doing these pages, even though I am not that good yet. It's really fun!

Relief....

I passed my first set of Exams just so you all know! I have been sick about taking these two tests and I am so glad it's over. I studied hard and it payed off. So if all goes well for my next test I will be in the Salon by the end of the month! So off to Boise Broc and I will go for my practicals and some time away with no kids...YEAH!!!

A First for Everything....

Tonight Brylee got to go on her first horse ride. It was so cute! She looked so little up there on my horse. We are really excited that she loves it so much so we can let her do it more. I have had this horse since he was born and I haven't been able to ride too much because of having kids and being in school and all of that fun stuff so now I am hoping to be able to spend more time with him because he is quite fat right now!

Broc just lifted her up there and she grabbed ahold of his main and rode around saying "Easy boy", it was pretty cute. She kept telling Broc to let her do it by herself.

New Hobby....

So I am by no means very good yet but I have found something that I can do that I enjoy and it doesn't create a mess for my kids to get into. Digital Scrapbooking is now a new hobby that I can do in my spare time (if I get any) but I love to do it! I got inspiration from a few of my friends that are soooo dang good at it. It has taken a while to get to know my program and stuff so it's not something you can just do in one day that's for sure. I did this cute page of Payson because I had taken these pics a few weeks ago and I loved em. He's growing so fast, he is getting so good at walking and just loves to be outside! I never thought I could love a little boy this much because when I had Brylee she was just so sweet and girls are so fun to dress and all that but Payson is just so dang loveable and he always wants to cuddle with me! I could have more boys and be fine, another girl and I might go crazy! haha No we love our little Brylers, she can be sweet too!:)
(I've been going stir crazy being home all day so this is a good way to keep me busy!)

Caramel Pops....

I wanted to share this Yummy treat with all of you! It is sooooo good and easy to make. When I was going to school at The Hair Academy, the owners mother (Lola) was a greeter at the front desk and she would make these and tell everyone to "back off" until Amber got her share! hehe I love that woman, we all called her grandma Lola. I miss that place very much and I especially miss my Caramel pops, so tonight while Broc and Brylee went to his softball games me and Payson hung out at the house and made these delicious treats! Watch out they are so addicting......and very good with a Pepsi! The grocery store does not always have them in stock so you have to watch for them. The recipe is on the back but I will share it on here to help you all out a little bit. It makes a ton so it would be a good snack for a party or get together. I don't know about all of you but I always need ideas of a snack to take to a party and I always end up taking my yummy 7 Layer dip that I do love but I needed something new. Now all of you go and make them and let me know how you like them....good luck !
Caramel Pops:
1 8 oz. bag Barrel O' Fun Corn pops (place in large roasting pan)
caramel coating (mix in 2 qt. saucepan)
1/2 Cup Butter or margerine
1/2 Cup light corn syrup
1 Cup brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda (i forgot to include in picture)
-while mixing in saucepan, cook for 2 minutes or until bubbly around edges, remove from heat.
-add 1 tsp. baking soda to cause foaming (this helps proper coating of pops)
-pour caramel over pops and stir until pops are coated properly
-bake in oven @ 250 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring every 10
-remove from oven and pour onto wax paper and seperate to cool
Then Eat and Enjoy!!!

Party fun....

Happy Birthday Brylee!!!

Brylee at 1 years old

Today is Brylee's birthday and I am sad that she is already 3! She has grown up on us so fast and I miss her being so little. I thought that pic of her when she was 1 would be fun to share how much she has changed and grown. I miss her at that age! Brylee had so much fun at her party on Saturday, she had lots of friends come and have a good time! We were so glad that the weather was so perfect! I even got a little sun, which was much needed. Here are 3 fun things about my 3 year old sweety:

-She loves spicy foods, we have always been surpised at the things she'll eat!

-She is very independant, almost too much at times.

-She loves to do anything outside, and always finds a way to escape out the front door!
