Messes all day....

Is winter really just beginning? I don't know what I am going to do with this girl clear til summer. Everyday she asks me if it's almost Summer yet and I say "No, not for a long time". Every day I clean up countless messes. Mostly her closet because she drags about 50 outfits out a day to try on and most of the time they end up looking something like this.......

that outfit consists of her legging/stretch pants and shirt with polka dot tights over the stretch pants, Payson't Nike jacket (a few sizes too small there) and her silver shoes over the tights. Nice taste don't ya think?! I think she gets it from her dad but who knows......
At least she loves her brother.....

Now this next outfit is pretty snazzy, she's got on her outfit for the day but just in case it gets warm enough to swim we've got the swimsuit layer so it will be a quick change! So efficient! (but so not wanting me to take a pic, she was not happy that I was laughing at her outfit choice, she meant serious business and it was early in the morning for her)

All these outfit changes a day do wear a girl out! Miracles DO happen I discovered today. I was so dang tired I decided to lay on my bed. I seriously can't get Brylee to nap anymore, I've tried everything. So while she was watching a movie in the family room I went and layed down and pretty soon she came in and climbed in my bed with me and then I heard the heavy breathing, so I turned to see this......

What a sweetheart. She finally gave in and let herself fall asleep for a MUCH needed nap. I just need to find more activities for her to do all day because I am going to go crazy with a messy house all winter. I just realized today why I am going crazy and feel like I can't keep up. This is my first winter home with 2 kids! Last winter I was at school all day everyday so my house stayed much cleaner. And when Brylee was the only child, she didn't create near the messes, but with two kids......holy cow the laundry, the dishes, the toys, the clutter!!! I will never know or understand how my mom had 6 kids. Oh well I still love my kids more than anything, it's just going to be a long winter.....

Payson's Haircut....

This little guy has needed a haircut for a while, so tonight while Broc made himself a coat rack in the garage and Brylee was shopping with her grandma, I got out my shears and clippers and went to town on that long hair! It looks so dang cute and he looks so much older! He was so cute the whole time. He let me put the cape on and he sat very still while I clippered the bottom half. He thinks it tickles so he just sits and giggles, it's so funny.

Pink...is not for boys

The other day Payson came strollin into the kitchen looking like this....

The poor kid had to use a pink binkie for a couple days because all the blue and green ones were MIA for the time being and we had one pink one leftover from when Brylee used them. I even took him to Brylee's gymnastics with the pink one and I was so embarrased but he was SO tired and needed it to keep him from crying. And he loves shoes, he's always trying on all of our shoes and gets really mad when he can't walk well in them. These boots however, stay on and are easy to walk in! So there ya go....a good pic to let him look back on when he's in high school:) We did find those blue and green binkies by the way!

A Little Shade....

This is our new Pine Tree that was transfered from my parents yard to ours. They have so many trees and my dad wanted this one moved since it was growing so close to his shop. We are so glad to see a tiny progress to our backyard, the shade will be so nice! Hopefully we will see grass in the spring. Gotta love the mud...not!

Back to private we go.....

I know I said a while back I was going back to private and I have just been putting it off for quite a while. It is such a pain sometimes to have to have everyones emails and all but I have decided that I don't like that just anyone can check out my family. Especially after checking my site meter today and finding out that someone had "googled" our names and found our blog! Scares me cuz I know there are so many people that look at our blog but don't leave a comment. If people left comments and I knew who everyone was that was looking at it then I wouldn't be so skeptical. In this world today there are too many creeps....so back to private we go! There are quite a few of you who I have gotten in contact with since I opened up my blog so please get me your email addresses so you can keep checkin in on the Genta's:) And everyone else I already have all your emails from when I was private before so thats good! Thanks for making blogging so fun for me, I love to keep in touch this way and keep you all updated on what's going on with us! Again leave me a comment with your email (not blog address) if I don't already have it. Thanks and have a great day!

So Excited!!!

I just watched a clip of Twilight online and I seriously got the chills! I am SOOO excited to see it. It makes it all that much better that I have read the books. I think this will definately be a girls night out movie!! I've got Bella's Lullaby playing on my playlist....so good!
EDIT: I got my tickets!!! Me and my mom are going to have a little date;) I showed Broc the clip at Twlightthemovie.com and he said he wanted to come too! I guess I could go to it twice:) Can't wait!!!

Men!

While sitting on the couch just relaxing after getting home tonight, I was into my own little world of checking my blog, Broc in his world of the great NFL Football Game that was on. Payson came strolling around the corner with an object, I saw from the corner of my eye that it was white and a little bit big for a toy. I looked up just in time to see him bent over the toilet brush, as he was pulling it out to play with it... I screamed and jumped off the couch. I ran over and grabbed it from him and handed it to Broc who was laughing hysterically saying that he thought maybe a spider landed on me! I told Broc "Put this somewhere so he can't get it!" Broc: "Where" (still laughing) Me: "I don't care!". So I grabbed Pays and took him into wash his hands in the bathroom...with lots of soap! I am a germaphobe, I get grossed out by things like this as should anyone! As I walked out towards the kitchen I noticed something looked different. I looked up to see a white object sitting up with my decor on top of the cabinets. I immediately made a face and said "ugh!" and Broc again started laughing really hard...."you told me you didn't care where I put it". Exactly why I am the one to take care of things, especially the decorating around here! Thanks but No Thanks for the help Broc....

(adds a nice touch don't ya think??)

South Paw, Photogenic, and 2 Binky's...{for journaling}

I know I have been posting a lot of pics lately of my kids but I decided to try to make sure i'm getting pics of the things that I will want to rememeber. Like my sis in law says "I blog to blurb"...Thanks Jess for the inspiration! I really want to make a family book at the end of the year so I am simply adding to my collection of memories.

Payson we've decided is a "South Paw" (left handed) as Broc would call it. Broc's mom is left handed so he is taking after Grandma! He eats, throws and most other things left handed so we are pretty sure but who knows....maybe he's just not sure yet which one to use. Broc was not to excited about it cuz of sports but then he decided that Pays would be a good Pitcher for baseball. :) We love him just the way he is! It's so sad to see my big boy up to the counter eating with his big sis all by himself. Usually there's quite a mess when he's done but he's learning to get the spoon or fork to his mouth without the food falling off first.

Brylee has been so funny about pictures lately. Anything funny or different that she does she says "mom take a picture!" I love to see her actually smile for some of these because she has always been the hardest girl to get pics of. She was climbing the pantry looking for snacks when I took the one and the other she was jumping off the couch (a naughty thing they do now) with Pays and stopped for a pic....and yes she is still in her jammies, she was all day that day. Love that smile! She's so pretty I wish she would show it more. She is also growing up on me! And the last pic of Pays with two binkis....well he was just being silly and was saying "cheeeeese" with them in his mouth. I'm so curious to know if our third baby will love the binki's as much as my first two (and no that is NOT an announcement! haha) Fun times I tell ya. Love my kids so much!

Halloween 2008

Brylee and Payson had a pretty good Halloween this year. They are both still so young and don't really know what's going on. Brylee grasped it a lot more when kids started ringing our door bell and saying "trick or treat", and mom would put candy in their bags. Then she got more excited and wanted to actually go out trick or treating herself. All day she didn't seem to care about wearing her costume up until the fun began with the trick or treating. Payson loved wearing his Frog costume. He's such a cuddle bug, I think he liked the coziness of it. That afternoon they got to go to Grandma Genta's bank to do some showing off of their costumes and get their first treats of the day for their buckets. Brylee as you can see was not in the mood for a picture, but what else is new! ;)

Broc was an awesome sport and took them both out to do the "trick or treating" while I stayed home to pass out candy. The kids were coming to the door so fast that I didn't dare leave with no one here. Then when we started to run out of candy we hopped in the car and went to dinner and the kids were still piling up the drive way....we felt so bad! Guess we'll have to be more prepared next year:)
