EnGaGeMeNt TaG....

Since today is the 6 year mark from when Broc proposed, I thought it was the perfect time to do the engagement tag I got from Nicole Pena a while back.....so I am doing it late, but better late than never right?!
So basically in a nutshell I met Broc when I was very young and we wrote while he was on his mission and then......well we just couldn't keep away from eachother after his mission. I think everyone thought "She's so young!" I know I thought that and my mom did too but what do ya do when your in love??? So we dated my whole senior year and I remember Broc saying many times that he just really wanted to get married. He went to his friends wedding (Mike) and he called me when he got out of the temple and said "I just want to get married!" I know you can't picture him being like that, it was that surprising to me too. So we of course planned on getting married but I was not going to have a ring while I was still in High School. So about 10 days after I graduated he took me up 4-wheeling in the mountains and he wanted to get all the way up to the relay towers (that's above green canyon) but there was snow that blocked the way. I thought we were going to check cattle gates for Curtis Ferney cuz it was his ranch at the time so I hadn't even gotten ready and I had a hat on. So Broc stopped at this spot that was so pretty and had the best view and he's like "lets take some pictures" so right then I knew something was weird cuz he wanted to "take pictures". so he went and got the camera out of the 4 wheeler and we took our pictures and were just standing there when he pulled out the ring and got on one knee! (I don't remember what all was said it was kind of a blur) It was very cute and I will never forgot how giddy we both were. That was on May 30th 2002 (he broke his nose the 31st in a co-ed softball game and that's a whole other story), then we were married August 16th. Being married to my best friend is the greatest thing ever! He always makes me laugh and he definately knows how to put up with me:) It was my dream to marry him from the day I met him at 15 years old. I just knew that was the kind of guy I wanted to be with forever. Thanks Broc for being a part of my life and being so good to me all the time! (He's my little errand boy, he always picks up my midnight snacks for me and helps me run errands!) Love you!
(oh and to this day he tells people that he didn't have a choice about marrying me because I already had the Temple scheduled- which he totally had me do because we couldnt get engaged sooner because I was in high school-So just for the record it was mutual!)

Birthday Girl....

These are Brylee's adorable invitations that my neighbor did for me at the last minute! I have been sick these last couple days and I haven't thought much about birthday stuff so I felt bad because Brylee keeps talking about her birthday. So we are just doing a little party on Saturday if any of you want to come and bring your kiddies, we will just be doing some fun stuff outside and having some food and of course Cake! I asked Brylee what she wanted for her birthday and she said "candles and cake". Such a funny girl, food always comes first to her just like her mama. Her birthday is not until the 3rd but we are going to celebrate it on Saturday!

That's my boy!

Although it is a pink 4 wheeler, he has learned how to drive it all by himself and it is so cute! All Broc could say was "That's my boy!" We just laughed because he is so tiny and he just cruises around on this thing now that he knows how. When he first hits the button, there is a jolt and he looks like he's going to fall off (as you can see in the first pic) There is just a little button on the handle that makes it go. He will go until he is going to run into something then one of us has to hurry and turn him in the other direction. We will have to work on getting it in a different color for the poor boy!

It has been so nice to be home with the kids so far, except for the crappy weather!!! I am hoping that this weekend is nice.

I'm Done!!!

Mission accomplished! I am officially done with my 2000 hour course at The Hair Academy. As hard as it was to leave my kids everyday, it was the most rewarding thing I could have done for myself. It has been my long dream to do hair and I am so proud that I went through schooling while having two kids. It was not easy but it was worth it. I met some of my best friends there and I learned ALOT about life lessons. Paul Mitchell Systems has really good culture and I have seen alot of young girls change because of it. I put a few pics of my friends and things so you all could see what I got to be around everyday. I am going to miss it alot but I am so excited to take my boards and start my new job. I should be starting at Radiance at the end of June or beginning of July, depending on when I can find out about passing boards and all that! I'm so excited to work there, it is a really nice Salon. And it is a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon so I will be comfortable in the surroundings, and still be able to use Paul Mitchell products which I love. So thanks a million to all of you who have been a huge support! Yeah, I get to sleep in tomorrow and clean my house!!!

This is where I have practically lived for almost 2 years

Kristin, Steph, Nancy and me (My last full day, there were tears and so no mascara!)

Me trying to bust a move. Everyone was dancing but I mostly took pics, so I posed for this one pic, nice I know.

Broc sent me these beautiful flowers and a super funny card. Thanks babe!

Cowgirl up....

Mine and my dad's horses...they look like twins

Brylee feeding them grain

Loving life!

We went out to my parents house tonight and Brylee insisted on feeding the horses so Grandpa Kay got out some grain and the horses came a runnin! Brylee had no fear of them at all! She reminds me of me when I was little. I was always in and around them and always looking for one to ride. She really wants to ride one so we might have to get her on one this summer, I would love to get her a pony when we move to the country! She would love that.

Getting organized....

I don't know why I decided to do all this tonight, maybe it's because I hate clutter and couldn't take the fact that my lack of attention on the kids closets was getting so bad that I couldn't even go into Brylee's to get her clothes anymore! sheeesh, look at that pile. That girl knows how to make a mess. I swear there is no other spot in my house that was or is this bad! I just dreaded having to go through all the toys and dolls and junk. I went and bought the coolest little organizing racks at Kmart this weekend and I'm so glad I did because the closets look 100 times better! Plus they had girl and boy colors so I got one of both, how cute! I thought I would wait until I was out of school to start this process but I couldn't stand it anymore. How embarassing that I am posting this but....here's to you Annalee:) You wanted to see the dirty work.

this is after I ripped all that junk out... Here's that pile of...I don't even know what to call it.

After... I went through all that stuff and threw a bunch away. Ahhhh so much better. There's actually a closet there now. And all of her baby's are in their own little basket. (now the tricky part is training her to put things back in their bin when she's done with them....HAHA yea right!)

Paysons closet was not quite as bad but it still needed the work! So much better!!! I think I might just sleep great tonight!

Here's a before and after...

And the shelf is hung....

I finally got this shelf hung this weekend in Brylee's room! It's been sitting in my living room against the wall for a good 3 weeks or so. I had it made at Traditions in Rigby (one of my favorite home decor stores). I did it in Brown because her room is so bright pink and her bedding has some accents of brown in it so it really ties it all together. I would like to do some different stuff to the decor on it but for now I used what we had. The cute blocks are from Real Deals, they had some way cute ones when I went on Saturday. Other than the shelf we got a nice big Maple tree planted in our yard and I'm so excited for the yard to get done! Also I got to clean my house but not as good as I would like. When I get done with school I will have to do some major de-cluttering, I will try to remember to post pics of that. And for all those who have been saying they want to come get their hair done, My last day is the 22nd of May (YEAH!!!!) so please get your appts ASAP. I probably won't be in the salon until July cuz thats the soonest I can get my license. Anyways Happy Mothers Day to all you awesome mommies!!!

A Day Off....

Today I had the day off of school, so me and my friend Bree decided to take our kids to the park for lunch. It was such a nice day and I was glad I could take the kids to do something fun since I'm never home to do that. We had a good time until Brylee wet her pants before she went down this big slide......nice I know. We packed up and left shortly after that. Payson went down a slide for the first time and he thought he was so cool! He enjoyed being out and watching all the kids play. I love that he will sit in one spot for more than a few minutes because Brylee never would, and still doesn't! Thanks Bree for the fun afternoon, we'll have to do it again!

Finally some sun!

This weekend was so nice compared to the crappy weather we've had lately. It was so nice to be able to enjoy being outside and not having to bundle the kids up. Brylee enjoyed riding her bike around while Payson tried to decide what he thought of the dog, Simon. Broc has had Simon since he team roped, and that was a long time ago, so Simon is pretty dang old. He is such a good dog for kids and Payson finally warmed up to him and then tortured him by pulling his fur and grabbing his ticklish feet. Simon took it well though. We all just sat around and watched the kids while we visited Broc's granparents who were here from Canada this weekend, and I'm sad that I didn't take any pics of them! So I hope the sun will come and stay because we sure enjoy it!

Scary Moment....

Ok you know how I have mentioned how I am a worrier??? Well I have a little story to share that will explain a little more in detail. So I am home alone with the kiddies this weekend cuz Broc decided to go do some hunting for rockchucks on his uncles ranch in Montana and I hate to be home alone first of all but tonight just topped it off. I had just put Payson to bed and Brylee was in watching a movie on my bed and so I went into her room to get her bed turned down and ready for her to go to bed as well, and I for some reason (probably because I'm paranoid) decided to look out her window. So I peek our through the blinds and there's this little truck with a campershell sitting right outside my house. It was across the street but there is no house there and it was basically right in front of mine. There were these weird lights inside, like blue dim lights, kind of looked like a cell phone was being used or something, so someone was in it but it was dark out and it was not my neighbors!!! I am like panicking at this point because I knew that I could not sleep knowing there was this truck sitting out front like someone was watching the house. So I called my mom and was trying really hard not to cry and my mom got my dad and he told me to call 911 and ask for an officer to just drive by and check it out......So I call 911 and I am sooo embarassed because I feel like this big pansy (which I know I am) so they send 2 officers over and I just watched out the window this whole time, but the one officer got out of his car with this flashlight and was shining it in the windows and I'm thinking "I am such an idiot!" because I could see nothing. Then he gets to the campershell and he opens it up and starts talking to someone!!! I WAS DYING! I thought for sure it was my murderer. (remember there are no houses across the street it is DARK) This kid climbs out and I was just like numb and scared and mad at my husband all at once. So they talk and the kid shows his DL yada yada yada. The one officer leaves and the other gets in his car and calls my house to let me know that it is just this college kid and his girlfriend watching a movie. OH MY GOSH!!! I said "Why do they have to park in front of my house though" and he's like "well they thought it looked like a nice quiet street and they want to finish their movie so I told them they could" So I explained that I was home alone with my kids and he totally understood. He said he would rather have something like that called in than to later find out that someone should have called it in. Dumb college kids anyways.....watching a movie.....uh huh.....riiiighht. EWWWW I am just mad that it had to happen. I just totally scare myself when I'm home alone. I've got my pepperspray/mace stuff though that I keep close to me......I told ya I'm a worrier! So that's my story and I really am embarassed that I had to call 911, I'm sure all my neighbors were watching out their windows. So yea it was scary and I just hope I can sleep now.

(oh and they left shortly after because my neighbors pulled in to their drive way and they probably got the hint that it was a little weird to just sit outside someone's house to "watch a movie" in a campershell)

6 Unspectacular Quirks about me....

I was tagged by Chantri and I'm finally getting to it so here goes....

1) I am not a morning person, I am super grumpy in the mornings and my hubby thinks it is funny, he always says "I love you" and smiles cuz he knows Im just still half asleep. But I could stay up all night so it's weird, I'm a night owl.

2)I am a Germ-a-phobe.....is that how you spell that??? anyways I carry hand sanitizer in my purse and I try really hard not to touch public doors or even use public restrooms....I will hold it as long as I can! I will use my sleeve to open doors too.

3)I am the biggest worrier ever! My friends always tell me that they make pills for that but I think I am just fine without them.hehe And I am very tenderhearted, I get my feelings hurt easy and I cry easy in movies and stuff.(embarassing I know)

hmmmm....I'm trying to think of something else......

4)I am very sarcastic and sometimes that's not good because people take it the wrong way. I really am a nice person, I blame my Grandpa Kay (biggest jokster ever).

5)When I was born my hips weren't fully developed and they didn't know how well I would walk.

6)I am an animal lover! I love anything but spiders & insects. This is where it is hard for me to be married to a hunter. Animals have feelings too!!!

K now that I've shared too much information I will tag :
