6 weeks Gone....or is it??

It has been 6 weeks or so since Brylee has been off the paci......well as you can see she's still not over them. Every now and then I will find her in random places sucking on her brothers paci that she's found. Under the shelves in my pantry, under the covers of her bed, in my cupboards, in her Dora tent. All these places I have found her with one and she hurrys and rips it out of her mouth and hands it to me...."Here mom." Like she's being so obedient. Today she had been to all 3 hours of church and came home so tired and still wouldn't nap so she was not happy about me making her wash her hands after she went to the bathroom, or anything else that we would ask her to do. So after a HUGE fit she threw, I took her to lay on her bed to have a time out and after just a minute it got really quiet. Broc's like "Could she really be asleep?" I'm thinking...."yea by some miracle maybe." Well turns out that miracle was the paci that was left in her room by her brother and at this point I didn't even care that she had it, I was just happy that she was sleeping! Bad I know. She loves these things so much that once she gets one in her mouth she just passes out. Kind of nice once in a while:) So as for today, I gave in and didn't take it away, and it was so worth it. I have a happy, rested little girl now!

Not much to write about....

I have been so busy working and trying to be a mom at the same time lately so I have been aweful at taking pics and there really hasn't been much excitement going on. I have been back at the Credit Union temporarily, they called and asked me to come work 4 hours a day for 4 weeks. It's going good so far but I realize that doing hair is much more my thing and I enjoy it alot more! Dealing with people's money gets complicated and they get mean! So other than that I am dealing with a teething child, a mean 3 year old, and a house I can't keep clean because of two little stinkers that love to drag anything and everything out of their closets or my cupboards. This is why I am not looking forward to winter, because you can't just escape outside to entertain your kids, you are stuck inside all day trying to entertain them.

On another note, I took my blog off private about 3 days ago and.....I don't think I can do it!! I hate not knowing who is looking at my blog and reads everything about my family so back to private I will be going in a couple days! If you don't think I have your email or if you want to be added please leave me a comment with it so I can get you all in. I have had so many people wanting to look at it and it seemed like such a pain to have to collect all these email addresses but now that I am not private I am beginning to think it's worth the pain to add everyone individually. I'm just too nervous of a person I guess.

Have a great rest of the weekend everyone! I hope I get something more interesting to post about soon:)

(by the way.....what do you think about my new blog makeover?? Yay or Nay?? I can't decide if I like the black!?)

Kickin' Back....

This swing has been sitting in our living room for a few days for our babysitter to use for her cute little 3 week old baby while she's here......But someone else has sure been getting his use out of it as well:) Payson loves to sit in it and just "kick back" and listen to the music that it plays. He's usually content until his sister comes along and pulls him out so she can use it for her babies. So it looks like it will be going back to the basement until the real baby (Gracie) is here to make proper use of it!

I am a Princess after all....

You Are Aurora! (A.K.A. Sleeping Beauty.)

Thoughtful and loving. Authority figures probably have been sheltering you all of your life. Thankfully you're a very tranquil person who is content with what life has given you, but secretly you want to know how the outside world works.

Which Disney Princess Are You?

I saw this on my friend Megan's blog and thought I would give it a try....I don't know what to think about Sleeping Beauty, I haven't seen the cartoon enough to know if I'm like her;)

Am I Crazy???

The other day we received this flyer on our door from a guy who said he would clean all our outside windows for $10 before winter! Of course the first thing you think is "what a hoax" right? So I waited a few days and finally after seeing that flyer sitting on my counter all weekend I decided to call. I was really skeptical about the whole thing and I made Broc be home when he came ...just in case:) So I thought maybe I was crazy for giving into this "deal", but it turns out that he did come and clean all our outside windows for $10!!! I was so excited to not have to do it myself! I will have to do the inside of them now since there are still fingerprints and all that other evidence of kids playing in them. So anyways that is the GREAT part of my day, the not so great part is that Brylee threw up this morning and while Payson was standing there watching her (I guess he has a weak stomache) cuz then he started throwing up. This was all at once so I didn't know what to do!! Brylee was crying, Payson was crying and I was freaking out trying to make sure they stayed on the blankets I had layed out for them to watch a movie on, so it wouldn't get on my carpet! PHEW, that was alot to describe. It all turned out ok but man I hate having sick kids. Plus I am sick now too......what a fun day!

Here comes trouble.....

Cute little Olivia (my friend April's little girl) I watched her for a little while and Payson loved having a baby around.....too bad we won't have one of our own for quite a while;)

I just love these pictures of Payson! The top one he is looking pretty suspicious after I had to tell him to "back away" from Olivia. Payson sure thought she was cute! He kept leaning over her trying to maul her, this is just such a cute picture of him trying to look all innocent. What a sweet boy!

.......And here he is playing peek-a-boo in my bed. He always climbs into the big pillows so you can only see his eyes looking out at you and then he jumps up like this and thinks he is so funny, which he really is! I just love how he is growing and changing. He now says "Sit Down" since I am always telling him that when he's in his high chair. He's a little bit late on the talking side, Brylee talked when she was like 1 year old so this is such a different thing for me.

When we found out we were going to have Payson it was a BIG surprise and I was really nervous about having them so close, but we now can not imagine our lives without him, he has a such a sweet spirit and we love him so much!!

Here they are....

OK here they are!! I love them and I'm so excited to have decent pics! I always end up being disappointed when we get family pics but not this time, I really like these! My kids did pretty good considering the cold temperatures. I don't know what to do about Brylee she is just stubborn and won't smile. Annalee even bribed her saying she would buy her a barbie and that worked for a while, so when we were done and got in the car Brylee's like "where my barbie mom!" HAHA She remembers everything. Anyways these are a few of the pics there are still more to come....

Family Pics....

Tonight we got our family pics done and I was a little nervous because well....it's been freezing cold with wind and a chance of thundershowers...so I thought we would have to reschedule but OH NO Annalee is pretty much amazing and did so good. Other than the bad weather she had to deal with me being picky about Brylee's hair and my kids just not smiling! I am so excited though so to see some of the pics click this link....http://annaleetaylorphotography.blogspot.com/!!! Thanks a million Annalee you rock!

A Mothers Work....

I saw this on my sis-in-law's blog (Thanks Jess!) and thought it was such a cute story.....here's to all the husbands who wonder what their wives do all day and to all the wives who work so hard:)

A Man came home from work and found his two children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door. He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?" She again smiled and answered, "You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world I do all day?" ''Yes," was his incredulous reply. She answered,"Well, today I didn't do it."

3 inches gone!

I got done cutting Broc's hair this morning and Brylee jumped up on the chair and said "my turn!" So I thought now would be the time to do this very needed cut. We cut about 3 inches off and it looks so cute! The pics are hard to tell that it's even cuz she wouldn't hold her head straight. I just love how much she enjoys this cut though, She keep flipping it and running her fingers through it! So funny, she can be so girly yet such a tomboy at the same time. We are getting family pictures this week so I am so glad that we got some haircuts done in this house today!

"Nastics"....

Brylee started Gymnastics yesterday and had so much fun! (sorry about the bad pics my camera is a real piece of crap) I am so excited for her to have this fun activity to look forward to every week. I think it will be so good for her to get some energy out and to also have structure. I was a little worried about her back talking her teacher, since that's what she does to me, but she was so good and did everything she was supposed to! This place was really nice and they had so much for the kids to do. They did hopskotch, somersaults over ropes, balanced on the beams, did hula hoop, jumped on the tramp, did some more somersaults into a big foam pit.....on and on and on. They did so much and Brylee still didn't nap!!! I don't know what to do with her. Anyways the best part was when I took Bryle potty before class started and we walk in and there's a little sink about the size of Brylee so she could wash her own hands so she was all excited and then we turn to walk into the stall and the toilet was tiny!! I mean Brylee could just sit and be on it, no having to lift her on! HAHAHA I want one of those in our next house. She was thrilled that there was a toilet just her size. It was too cute. So overall "Nastics" (another Brylee term) is going to be alot of fun! A couple of the pics were taken through glass so there's a glare....

Balancing on the beam

Doing hopskotch

Balancing all by herself!

*maybe by next week I will have found a way to "accidentally" break my camera so I can get a decent one......

"4-Leelering"....

This last weekend we went 4 wheeling (or 4-leelering is how Brylee says it). We went with our friends, the Kerbs. It was alot of fun! Easton and Brylee get along so good so it was fun to get some cute pics of them together. On the way up I had to put my hat on backwards not to lose it, because I had to go so fast to keep up with Broc. We went into Packsaddle Lake, I have gone there since I was little because my dad was raised at the bottom of it on the Driggs side, so that's where my grandma still lives. It is such a pretty place, just a lake right inside of a mountain. It's so quiet and secluded there. We roasted hot dogs and let the kids play in the water....meanwhile Broc and Bruce decided to be brave but stupid and go on the rope swing. I was going to laugh really hard if one of them fell in the water, but they managed to hang on pretty tight. I love how Broc sometimes still acts like a kid, I just have to laugh at him:)
On the way back down Brylee fell asleep and it was so cute. She had a blast but she looked oh so serious in those awesome sunglasses that she borrowed from Easton! Oh and the dog in the top left pic is one of the two dogs our friends have, that one I think is Rocky. I love that pic because they kids are about as tall as the dog.
Anways I have to say that I am so thankful to have such easy access to such beautiful country and scenery, and to have a husband who enjoys so many fun activities that he can share with our kids. Sometimes I call those activities "habits" because he is ALWAYS wanting to be gone doing things, so it gets frustrating but I am actually so glad that he enjoys so many things because he can teach our kids so much, they have such a fun dad!
