{Weekend Getaway}

(picture overload)
Joey, Jace and Pays watching Spiderman
Last weekend we needed to just "get away". Broc decided it was time....which is rare so I took full advantage of the opportunity!;) We got a room at Little America in Salt Lake and let the kids swim. It was so fun and relaxing. Just what we needed. Reese was an angel the whole time. Saturday we dropped the kids off at my sisters and they had a sleepover! They LOVED that. Broc and I were able to do some shopping at Cabelas and the mall and ended the evening with dinner at Tacanos. YUM. Thanks Broc for the fun weekend!

Broc had a load at the mall....we took the kids to The Gateway so they could eat Panda Express. They love that place. I love this picture:) Best dad ever.
Brylee and Reese were in matching outfits so we had to get a pic!
Swimming!

Happy Girl!...with crazy hair:)
My sister took this pic...she watched Reese while we all swam. Her kids came to swim, it was a fun night.

doing a little work....he can't ever just smile. Always a goofy face!
The kids were playing "Church" with the scriptures in the hotel room. So cute.
Funny story...on our way home we stopped to eat and as we were sitting there a family came in to eat. An old man was trailing behind his family and he had a comb over....a huge comb over. Well the wind was blowing pretty hard outside and I noticed that part of his "comb over" was sticking straight up...just as I saw it Pays at the same time belts out "HA LOOK AT THAT GUY...", as Broc shushed him before he could finish what we knew was going to be "Look at that guys hair!" LOL I was laughing so hard...Broc couldn't believe I was laughing. It was so funny though. He said it SO loud. Good thing this guy couldn't hear...or we hope he couldn't! :)

{Reese's Blessing}

We blessed Reese on Mothers Day. It was so nice and the speakers in sacrament were so good. I waited until she was older to bless her because she had RSV when she was just 4 weeks old. I am so glad I waited, she was at a good age. She looked so pretty and did so well during the blessing. Broc gave such a good blessing and it was so emotional for me for some reason. It always is but this time it was more so to me. I am just so Thankful for Broc and my kids and for the gospel. I am SO thankful for our eternal family. I love my family and Broc's family so much.

After the blessing we had a lunch at our house. It was a perfect Mothers day meal!

Cousins!

Before church...

{Cute girl}

This is just a cute pic I had taken of Bry as she headed off to school one day. She is almost done with Kindergarten...so sad!

{Big Sister}

Brylee is such a GREAT help with Reese. She is so good with her, it actually surprised me because she was the complete opposite when Pays was born. Bry and Pays were only 22 months apart so I'm sure there was just jealousy there.

She always rushes to her when she cries and soothes her by holding her or giving her the Pacifier. Reese is lucky to have Brylee for a big sister. Brylee has wanted a little sister for a long time and she is so proud to say she has one now:) At first we were really nervous because Bry would just pick her up and we had to teach her how to support her little head and to not go on the tile while holding her. Now that Reese is holding her head up a little more it's gotten better but we still have to watch. We have a lot of tile in our kitchen so that still makes me nervous;)

{Just plain SILLY}

The two older ones can be quite "Silly" at times. Like when Brylee tells Payson to pose for a pic and he pulls the most random moves out of mid air and she takes a picture. I love these pics and I know the kids will enjoy seeing them when they are older;)
Bry whipping out a dance move.

This last one is my fav....:)
I'm pretty proud to be these SILLY kid's mama!

(can ya tell i'm behind on blogging...more posts to come!)

{Easter Sunday}

Easter Sunday was very relaxing. We actually had Stake Conference that Sunday so we just took it easy and let the kids play with their things that they got from the Easter Bunny. I totally spaced taking pics so no pics of that! Oops. We did spend that evening at Genta's . I made a Ham and spinach salad and Sandy made the potatoes and everything else. So yummy. The men went out and hid eggs for the kids to go find and they had so much fun doing that. My kids did about 3 hunts this year and got WAY too much candy. I think I threw half of it away!

I love this pic....Grandpa Barry and the 3 kiddos. They love their Grandpa.
Sophie came with us and sat in her bed mostly. I get nervous with her in Sandy's house because Sandy is not an inside dog lover;) She does allow Sophie in though.
She would sneek over and sit with Broc, when she wasn't looking for crumbs under the kids chairs...

The hunt...

We are so lucky to have such wonderful family to live by! I don't know what it would be like to not have family so close.

{A little fun...}

The kids always love to do any type of project so when I can think of something, we do it. This year for a little Easter fun, one day after school I let them have their friends over and we made little Easter egg nests....a cute idea I got Here. I melted some white chocolate and we dipped the pretzels then the nest building began! They loved it!

{Dance Recital 2011}

She was SO excited she got flowers from both grandmas!

Brylee had her dance recital back in April. She did a great job, we are so proud of her! I will have to post video later if I can figure out how:)
