Golf....
The other night Broc planned on taking me golfing so we decided to take Brylee since she could do no harm on the course....well until she starting playing in the sandpits and Broc had to rake up all her footprints. Other than that she had a blast! We had two carts and Brylee kept taking turns riding with Grandpa or me and Broc. I have to say for not going in so long I did pretty well, I did have to wear my batting glove so I wouldn't get blisters. I hit one ball into the canal and poor little Brylee hasn't let that go yet. She keeps asking me if my ball is still stuck in the water. Broc and his dad of course did awesome and Brylee just hit a few balls here and there but mostly ran around and wanted to drive the carts.
My mom has always been big into golf and has always told me that I need to know how cuz when I'm old that's one thing me and Broc will be able to enjoy together! HAHA ... It's probably true so maybe I better keep working on my swing;) But what a fun night, too bad I waited until fall to start wanting to play, now it's going to get too cold to golf!

Nerd Alert....
While Brylee was there she enjoyed playing non-stop with her cousins and their toys. In these pics she found some goggles and was riding that horse, her face was priceless! We were thinking of putting her in synchronized swimming;) And Payson is just looking cute, he's not really the nerd here. In the bottom right pic is Brylee with her cousin David. It was a great weekend but it's good to be home after two long rides with Payson crying and being mad the whole way almost. He does not do good in his carseat right now....so frustrating!!! It's the worst when your driving with a screaming child, and poor grandma and grandpa Genta had to ride with us through it all. They were good sports though. I just didn't want to make many stops so we could just get to our destinations, especially if he happened to fall asleep. Anways, I think our travels are finally going to slow down for a while....thank heavens. Fall is almost here and Christmas is just around the corner....crazy to anyone else???

Yeah for Jam and Gymnastics!
Turned them into Jam!!! I have always just lived off of my mom's homemade jam because she's always got plenty but this year I decided to try to be a "homemaker" and make my own! I am so excited and Broc is even more excited than me, he's even going to go get a freezer to put in our garage to put all the Jam in and some meat too. I made a few batches and it's really not hard, I actually enjoyed it:) I have been raised by a mom who has always been good at these things and I wish I would have payed more attention instead of being the spoiled youngest child that I was. So here I am nearly 25, finally starting to be in interest of them;) Yeah for me!
On another note, I got Brylee into gymnastics!!! We are so excited, she will be so good. She is always surprising us with her tricks, she even jumps off my mom's high deck onto the tramp and goes right into a summersault. She very athletic already so this will be a great way for her to get her energy out, since I'm waiting until next fall to do the whole pre-school thing. Oh and if you see her she'll probably tell you all about it.....;)

Happy Anniversary!
Today is 6 years for me and Broc, I can't believe how time has flown! It has been the best 6 years of my life, I'm so lucky I got to marry my best friend. I look forward to the many years to come! I think we look like such kids in our wedding pics, it's fun to look back. The difference between those pics and now is that we have bags under our eyes and the wrinkles have started but I guess that's what kids will do to ya;) Today we actually played softball all morning it was our co-ed tournament, we took 2nd place. I love to play but I think this year is my last, it's just too hard with kids. Life just keeps getting busier it seems like. Then tonight we ate at Applebees while the kids hung out at my mom's with their cousins. A good day overall! Happy Anniversary Broc!!!

Rach & Ty's Wedding....
The Beautiful Bride being escorted by her father. (isn't the ring bearer and flower girl so dang cute? it's her niece Baylee and nephew Logan)
Rachel's wedding was so beautiful....I'm so happy for you Rach and Ty!!!
I ran into a really good friend of mine whom I have not seen for a few years now, it was sooo good to see Kaysi I have missed her very much and she looked so good!!
And of course Broc looked so handsome, he does not like to dress up so I had to get a picture of us because it's not often I can catch him in his church clothes.
Things here have been very busy, I have picked up at the Salon with the back to school rush. It's so fun to have a job that I love to go to! This weekend we have a softball tournament for our Co-ed team and next weekend we are back to Utah for a party! CRAZY SUMMER I tell ya. We have been non stop with activities this summer between softball, working, traveling, and just trying to get some good old family time in. The biggest achievement thus far is that Brylee has been off of her binkis for 3 days!!! WHOOHOO!!! I never thought I would get the guts to do it but the other day she wanted to cut them up so we did it and every time she finds one she wants to do the same thing. I was starting to worry about her teeth a little bit and well....it was just plain embarassing to have a 3 year old with binkis!;) There have been a couple breakdowns but she has done so good, I'm so proud of her. Good Job Brylee!!

Signature Gathering 2008
Me and Pamela Parretti
Me and Takashi (all 3 of these people are platform artists on the advanced academy)
This is Donna the owner of The Hair Academy where I went to school. This is her 80's outfit!
Crissy and me
Me and Krista in front of a fountain at the Venetian (best hotel ever!) Thanks Krista I had a blast with you!
I know these pics are not in any specific order but there were so many that I wanted to share because I had so much fun! I admit that after a whole days worth of running and trying to keep up with the schedule that I did get lazy in the evenings. I didn't even go see a show, bummer. But I still had fun! I met so many mentors of mine. I had already met a few from them being guest speakers at our school but it was fun to see them in a different light. This trip however I got to see John Paul Dejoria and them. So the second day we were there we thought we were just going to relax by the pool all day cuz we had flown down there early to relax before the actual show. Sunday we actually ended up seeing all of these famous artists and we were all in our pool clothes, no makeup, so that explains the pics where I am not looking at all professional, I was so embarrassed! But not as embarassed as 80's night when I got my pic taken with John Paul! Why did it have to be that night?? He had on his blues brothers outfit so he was wearing sunglasses and I looked like "Barbara Walters" (as Crissy would say). I'm still really glad I went and was able to have the opportunity to meet all these people and to attend their classes. I learned alot and I'm excited to use some of the things I learned in the salon. By the end I was really ready to be home with my kids. Now this weekend we are headed to Utah for Rachels wedding....Yeah Rachel!!
