One year older and wiser too....

Sandy will kill me for posting that pic of her but it was so cute of Bry so i had to:/

Brylee is 5!!! (as of June 3rd) Weird. She is changing by the day and the attitude changes (for the worse) by the minute:) We still love this little fireball. I can still remember every detail about that night she was born. She was perfect with her little button nose, tiny mouth and tiny ears. She is still perfect in our eyes. She is one smart cookie and is very talented with art. She has an eye for things...like picking out her clothes which most times we don't agree on but hey I have to let her be herself:P She can swing a bat really really well but still has to have that hair bow in her hair. She dances like crazy with her Hannah Montana, or Taylor Swift music and doesn't give a dang if I video the whole thing, in fact she puts on quite the show I will have to post a video:) It makes me ache a little bit thinking that she will be starting school this year and a whole new chapter of our lives will begin. I know she will be a good example to those around her, she is a very strong willed little girl and knows what she wants in life. Happy Happy Birthday Brylee Boo WE LOVE YOU!!!

She had the BUSIEST birthday ever. Holy moly that night I passed out..seriously. She started it off with having her last day of preschool (which they had a party for her there and I had to make a treat to take) then came home and opened our presents. Payson went to my moms for the afternoon and Broc and I took her to Craigos for lunch. Then we came home and let her play with her new dollhouse, which was the main thing she wanted. I made some cupcakes really fast and then we rushed over to her party at the Rex Jump and she had a bunch of her little friends there for a little friend party. It turned out great! She got spoiled by all her friends, she is one lucky girl. I never had birthdays like this when I was little! Then after the party we came home for a few to clean up a little then we were off again to go to a farewell pizza party for our friends, Shawn and Megan. They are moving to New York to do his residency, he graduated Med school in Podiatry and we are very proud of him! That's Brocs best friend. They are so funny together and we can't wait to come to New York to see you guys!! Anyways back to the birthday girl...after that we had to rush to her preschool graduation. Phew...That ended the day with 2 tired kids, one tired and grumpy mama and well I don't know how Broc was feeling but I don't care he didn't do all the work. HA! Stay tuned for preschool grad pics....

Below is a pic of her after she opened her first gift from us....Candy Land. And she said "I didn't want this!". Oh my talk about SPOILED! She was quite pleased as you see in the next pic when she opened what she has wanted for months...a bigger dollhouse. We gave her little one to the neighbor and she has been waiting for a new one. She LOVES this thing. It's great to have her entertained by something for so long. We also got her a Lightbright...remember those?? I had one when I was little and loved it. She also loves that.

(sorry pics are in random order....my life is chaos right now and I don't energy to care:P )

First ride of the year

My dad on his horse...Doc
Broc riding Brody
This is my horse....Nugget...hate the name, need to change!
My cowboy;)

Ha Brylee and Sophie look so funny....the wind was blowing so hard. Dang wind, I could live without it!!!
I had the funnest horse ride last saturday! We just went to an indoor arena because the weather was crappy but I got to work my horse pretty good and I have been sore ever since. I am pretty dang excited to ride all summer. Last summer my horse was crippled and we almost put him down. His feet were bad (it's called foundering) after being on fresh grass all last spring and not being used all winter. I guess it's like us losing toenails and walking on those toes:/ That's how my dad put it. So he was pretty tender on the feet. After my good friends dad trimmed him up and my dad nursed him back to health, he is now doing as good as ever. Thanks to my dad for having patience and spending the time because I cried alot just thinking of putting him down. I'm so glad we didn't give up on him!

Can't wait for summer! (should be here any day I hope)

Mother's Day

I am Thankful for my mother and my mother in law. I feel blessed to have such great examples in my life. I am also very thankful that I get the opportunity to be a mother. I hope my kids will think as much of me as I do my own mother when they are all grown up. (I know they don't think a whole lot about me now unless I buy them a happy meal or something;) hahaha)

This man is so good to me. I am so blessed to have him. He is always doing something for me and puts up with alot from me. He is always doing dishes and laundry and as a working mom I am so thankful for that. Thanks Broc you mean the world to me!

Happy (way late) Mothers Day to all you mothers!!!

5 Year Well Check....(a not so fun trip!)

This pretty girl will be 5 in a month. When we went to register for Kindergarten I didn't have her immunization records so I decided to just get her shots done and get the records right then. The appointment went well and seemed to be just fine and she knew she was getting a shot. Or so we thought it was just "a shot"....oh no....it was 5 shots!!! I guess we were behind on a shot. It was horrible. I had to hold her on my lap and hold her legs with mine and hold her arms down too. The poor girl was so sad. We went and got a blizzard afterwards and that seemed to help. I felt so helpless! She is done with shots until she is 11 though. Here are her stats for my records:

Height 3 ft. 5 1/2 in.
Wight 37 lbs.
In about the 30th percentile for both
And as healthy as can be! She is ready for Kindergarten!

She dressed herself and picked out a hair flower that didn't match but it still looked cute. She insisted even after I tried to get her to wear a green flower:) She also loves to use my old purses to play with. It's about as big as her! HA! Love this girl.

Dance Recital 2010!!!

Brylee had her first real Dance Recital....so fun to watch her! I always wanted a daughter who would dance. It brings back alot of good memories of me dancing and how much fun the recitals always were.

My dad and Payson...I love this picture.

Brylee and her teacher Michelle...thanks for everything Michelle!

Brylee did so good at her recital! She is just growing up and we love her so much.

A little Comfortable?

I think Sophie is really feeling at home now....

.....what do you think?

And don't you love that one of her toys is a pony? She loves toys. Too cute.

Love this Puppy...

Brylee is ALWAYS wanting pics of the puppy....

Sophie is always licking faces...here is Broc trying to avoid her little attacks:)

Who knew a puppy could be so much work? We have been having so much fun with Sophie, she really is the sweetest dog. She LOVES to cuddle and falls asleep in any soft pile of blankets or clothes she can find. I feel like I have a newborn sometimes though. I wake up with her a couple times a night to go out to go potty. Luckily the last couple nights she has pretty much slept through the night so I think she is getting used to "home" and getting on a good schedule. When we get in our bed, she climbs into hers. She is pretty smart. Broc has fallen in love with her! That's a good thing because I was in trouble when I first got her;) She has kept the kids busy and it has been so good for Brylee to learn some responsibility. She takes her out to go potty and helps feed and tend her. That's about all we've been up to around here!

Radiance Girls

Have I ever mentioned how lucky I am to work where I work?

I am so lucky.

We went to dinner the other night for two girls that are leaving us....Mckenzie and Keely...We will miss you both! I love what I do and I love that I work with so many fun girls. There are a few of them missing in this pic but this is a majority of us!

*Meet Sophie*

She is the sweetest little thing

She loves her new bed....and Bry provided a blanket of course.

Bry is in HEAVEN

This is our newest family member, Sophie. We just got her yesterday and she has been such a joy already. She is so sweet, and never makes a peep! She is already potty trained so accidents haven't been an issue. Last night she woke me up when she needed to go out. I would take her out and then hold her for a minute, then back in her bed she went and she would wimper for a minute then fall right back asleep. It's like having a baby! Except she snores;) We sure do love her!

I just hope she survives Brylee wanting to hold her ALL DAY LONG!

Potty Trained!

Well it finally happened......and i think it took so long because of my laziness because this kid was SO easy to potty train! It took about a day. I just refused to buy diapers again so i told him they were all gone and we put on some undies and he ran naked for a day until he got the hang of it and it's been great since. He loves that his dad went and bought him some Spiderman undies and he really loves to pick out his Pull-up for bed. He's so dang skinny though so i have to roll the undies at the waist because he has NO bum to hold them up. He looks so cute in them, i love it!

(Phew....never thought i'd have both kids all potty trained before having another one. It feels so good!)
