We Need Sun!!!

I am just a little tired of this weather so i thought i would post some cute pics of the kids in the "SUN"glasses that they don't get to wear lately since there is no sun! GRRRRR i'm really wanting spring and summer to come! Can you tell i have nothing better to post about? Well anyways i really hope that this weather passes soon so that my kids will stop hanging on me and messing up the house. They are so grouchy because they are stuck inside all day. If anyone comes to the door during the day, they instantly try to escape and then i have to run outside after them in the freezing wind and snow. So yea just thought i would share the fact that we are ready to have some SUN! Anyone else???

{Archuleta} Concert...

Ok so i will just start out by saying that David has an AMAZING voice and i loved when he sat at the piano and sang and played better than when he was with his band. BUT we did however feel a little out of place since a majority of the crowd was little girls about 8-12 years old! hahaha It was so funny. They just screamed and screamed and we just laughed and laughed. I felt like i was at a Disney Concert or something. My friend was there so we were texting back and forth and that made the night pretty funny. I did enjoy our little night out together. Broc is so good to me, i am a lucky girl. We went to Olive Garden before the concert and i'd have to say that might have topped the night:) Don't get me wrong, the concert was fun but not as fun as other one's i've been to. Plus it was supposed to start at 7:30 and he didn't come out until 9:00!! It was kind of annoying but oh well. I don't know if it was the atmosphere cuz i'm used to bigger concerts (this one was pretty small) or if it was all the little girls but it was just not the best. At least i got to spend some time with my hubby!

Just wanted to wish my little guy a HAPPY BIRTHDAY today! I love Payson so much and I am so thankful that he came into our lives. He is so sweet and easy going, also very shy! He did go to Nursery all by himself yesterday so he is growing up and it's so sad to me that my baby is 2. Here are some of his favorite things at this age:
-Tractors (calls them booms)
-Horses (Eehaws) he even calls a cow a eehaw...so cute.
-LOVES candy! must get this from his mama.
-loves to bath, after every messy diaper he says "I tub". baths twice a day most days!
-Mandarin oranges, Olives and Chicken nuggets are a favorite! one of the few things he will eat.
-And last but not least he loves to play with his sister (that's when she'll let him;) ) He's so good and lets her comb his hair. If we are all getting ready and doing our hair he says "pike" which is Spike meaning he wants me to spike his hair. What a cutie!

A {Birthday} Celebration

Ok so this has a lot of pics...sorry but there were too many cute ones! Tonight we did a little party for Payson since his mean old mom bought concert tickets that happen to be on his birthday. I know i feel bad still but i think he'll be ok! Especially after all the fun he had tonight. We had a few friends and his grandparents over. The poor thing didn't go down for a nap until 5 so he didn't get a long nap cuz i woke him up at 6:30 when people started showing up so in some of the pics he is a little grumpy. You'll notice that me and Brylee had to handle the opening the presents part because he just wasn't havin it! After he saw all the cool things he got and had a little cake, he was ready to go! It was a great night and thanks to all who came! (especially Jed and Candice) Thanks for taking time out of your trip to come you guys, it meant alot! I wish i would have gotten pics of who was there. oops. But it was a really good night overall and i just can't believe that my baby is 2!!!!!!

What a {Babe}

I just have to brag for a moment about the extensions i did on my good friend, Steph! Isn't she a hotty? She's single! haha she's going to kill me. Anywho i did her extensions last week and they turned out so good. i am pretty dang proud of myself. I wish we had taken before pics but we didn't even think about it. her hair is normally a short A line bob. it's so thick and pretty too so these look great on her! Thanks Steph for letting me do your extensions.

Too {BIG}

for a few weeks we had a little problem with Payson and his crib. He would not sleep in it anymore, and why i don't know. He would only sleep on the floor. Every night we would put him to bed and then pretty soon we would hear him get out of the crib and every night he would end up in the hall asleep in front of our door. For the first few nights it would drive me crazy cuz i didn't want him to sleep on the floor with no blanket or anything but then i got to the point where i just needed sleep and would let him do it. So i finally decided to just make a bed on the floor in his room with a pillow and blanket and see if he would crash on it. Sure enough he did!

This little bed (if you could call it that) was where he slept for a week or so. And notice the bottles, we seriously would give him 2 a night cuz we just thought he was hungry cuz he never eats. So i guess he is just thinkin he's too big for a crib now! We really need to just get a twin bed but we don't want to right now. So we took the front of his crib off and made it into a toddler bed cuz it was made to do that and then it can even be a twin bed! It took a couple nights to get him back into a bed but he is now sleeping through the night in the toddler bed, YEAH! (i am really anxious to get a twin mattress set though so i can use his new bedding, i got it in the mail and i LOVE it!)

I feel pretty dang good about getting these tickets since they did sell out in 15 minutes!!! I was laying in bed this morning, enjoying the fact that Payson slept through the night (that's another story) and it was 9:30...yea sad, we had a lazy morning. My phone rings and it's my friend Steph who called to remind me that David Archuletas tickets went on sale this morning at 10! yes 10 and i am laying in bed at 9:30. So i jumped up and grabbed my laptop and wallet and sat on the website until 10:00 sharp. And so i clicked on the link to get some and i reserved two tickets and then i had register with the site, so by the time i got all my info in i had 5 seconds until the page expired when i hit confirm! It was so scary and intense but I got my tickets!!! I'm so excited. I wanted to go to the one in IF but those tickets sold out in an hour and i was at work so i was a little sad. The downfall is that it's on Paysons birthday and i didn't realize that until i was buying them. I feel guilty but we are going to make the day great for him and do something the night before. Sorry little man! Am i a bad mom??

I won!!!

I am one of those people that never wins anything, i just don't have that good luck charm or something. So i have never even been on E-bay because i just knew that i am not aggressive enough to win any bids. Well after lots of searching for bedding for Payson, i was inspired by Kassie, who posted some cute crib bedding on her blog that she found on ebay for a really good price. So i went to good ol ebay and did some searching and came across this bedding that i fell in love with! It is perfect for the idea i have for his room. So for a couple of days i watched the bids on it and i would bid here and there but i was just not going to pay alot. so finally the other day i logged on like 2 minutes before the bid was up and hurried and put in my bid and WON the bid and got this cute sports bedding for only $61.00!!! I am thrilled. It's brand new, it's just a company called Beyond Bedding that sells their stuff on ebay. So here it is and i can't wait to get to work on his room!

{2 year pics}

Today we went and had Annalee do Payson's 2 year pics and let me just tell you....he did NOT want his picture taken! It was alot of bribery and tickling and whatever else to get a smile. I don't know why i have the worst luck with my kids and pics cuz this kid is always the one to "cheese" in pics and today it just wasn't happening. So Thank you so much Annalee cuz i think you did awesome for what you had to work with:) You are amazing!

{Baby Grace}

Once a week i get the chance to watch this cute, sweet, chubby, make me baby hungry little girl...Grace!! She is so much fun and super easy to watch. Me and her mommy (Alisha) trade a day a week to watch eachothers kids so that we can each have one full day at the salon. It is so nice to get out one day a week and to not have to work so many nights. Thanks Alisha for the awesome trade and for letting me watch your sweet baby girl:)

Where was this awesome Bumbo chair when i had babies?? It is SO cool! I'm definately going to invest in one for my next baby...

Brylee LOVES to help take care of Gracey and is very good at making her laugh! (why can't she do this with her brother???)
